Among all of the other annoying automation and "safety" features being added to semi trucks, this has to be the most annoying (and dangerous) next to auto emergency braking. I'd like to know how to turn it OFF! It's pointless, unnecessary, and can cause rear end accidents at red lights, stop signs, etc or damage trailers, etc when backing.
Trying to figure out why my 2019 freightliner cascadia dd12 in automatic mode want shift past 8th gear unless you manually shift it then you have to manually down shift it until you reach 8th gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated
