On 13th November, 1996, Swami Rama left his mortal body (mahasamadhi) on the premises of the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust. Swami Rama Centre (SRC) developed out of the physical location of Swami Rama's mahasamadhi. Inspired to preserve the memory and teachings of the Himalayan master Swami Rama, SRC is dedicated to the preservation of his lectures, writings, research, art, music, and tradition. The compilation and publication of unpublished materials is a primary focus of the center. Websites connected with our work include www.hihtindia.org, www.sadhanamandir.org, and www.swamiramasociety.org

A person can not find oneness but oneness must find them,a person with oneness has no master, A person that looks for oneness walks away from it into slavery with many masters,
I am proud & lucky to remain in his company during 1965-1966. He kindly took me to Yamunotri with him from Rishikesh on foot during this time. I still enjoy the pleasure of the memories & teachings by him. He was the greatest soul I have found during my whole life. I am 76 years now in Australia with my wife & family...and I still remember & listen to the great collection of videos so kindly provided by You Tube....thanks to them for keeping the memories alive.

Silent yoga/meditation is spreading around the world. Not only the yoga practitioners, but also most of the psychics, channelers and remote viewers, even increasingly younger children in the west, seem to believe into reincarnation, regardless their religion, is it not interesting?
there are 2 books about his life... one is an autobiography.. called LIVING WITH THE HIMALAYAN MASTERS, and the second is WALKING WITH THE HIMALAYAN MASTERS...both these books throw a great light on this saint
I met Swami Rama on one of his rare visits to London in the middle 1980's; I heard him give a talk and was able to meet him privately afterwards; it was the only time in my life that I was struck dumb. There was nothing for me to say, because I felt that he knew all about me already and that I could say nothing that he did not already know. How wonderful that I was given this opportunity to look into his eyes and see him smile at me. Many years later I went to the Himalayas and thought about him beside that river meditating. What bliss!! I am so grateful.
