Hey guys - you made one of the best comedy series in history - it is my favourite comedy series.. You put your hearts into your characters! I have re-watched it many times. Much appreciated!
I agree with Glenn, it makes the scene appear more like a cartoon than a sit-com based on the real world which for me is immersion breaking. These characters are outlandish but I still believe them to exist in my world and to have Frank firing the gun with no reactions to the gun-shots makes it so obvious it was a decision made it post (which again breaks my immersion) The ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ man has a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ mind.
Have you ever imagined a full episode where the gang has to organize a "zoom bullshit" and nothing works, for about 20 or so minutes, and then it just... sort of... ends ?
in the reunion episode, Dee grabs a random name tag off the table, later in the episdoe the waitress shows up and says someone took her name off the table before her
I always like the early trailer park boys style of lighting. Where they used the natural sunlight because they almost always filmed outdoors. In Nova Scotia where it's normally cloudy, it's easier to do that. The early Sunny scenes recorded outdoors were always so washed out. Too bright for the theme of the show. They liked catching more sunny days or applied filters. And it didn't really catch the intended emotional shadows that are meant to follow Dennis, Dee, Charlie Mac and Frank. I think the McPoyls' outdoor scenes were done more appropriately. Maybe they could have been darker still. Especially the scene where Ryan was pushed off the roof of the bar.
No, but the problem with The Kardashians is that they sell a lot of cheaply produced products they copied off of other people. And they also sell shit like laxative lollipops for weight loss.
The roof scene looks so much like an "achievement" in hitman ! 😂 He made it, he's out, breathing fresh air...but it gives him no solution, and Riley is still inside Btw, this is only a compilation of Cooper scenes...in the arena 😉
I thought it was pretty clear Apocalypto is about the end of the world. The elite Mayan clergymen used cosmology and general astrophysics knowledge to strike fear into the commoners, with a looming end of the world to keep them in check. The very end brings about what ultimately became their real end. How could you possibly take away that " It's gonna get better " ?
I'll admit, I don't love time jumps/alternate reality episodes in general, BUT there are just some jokes in this episode (The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell) that compensate for that. Also Glenn and David's performances were just too good to skip it!
We rescued a snake once (a Kenyan Sand Boa, definitely not native to Louisiana) from an abandoned house. The poor guy had been living in a vacant house surviving off of insects and dust bunnies. He was extremely constipated. We had to give him massages, and then bathe him to make his innards start moving along. It worked. It was weird, but it worked.
This was the first episode of Sunny I ever saw. I was 15 years old and my family had just moved from Spokane, Washington to Northern Idaho. I was a sophomore in High School. My bedroom was in finished basement with white shag carpet and wood paneling and there was a TV room I’d sneak into and watch FX and Adult Swim. Seemed such a strange and weird show and i was captivated immediately by the humor style. What a wonderful age and time. There’s no sitting waiting for something random and like nothing you’ve seen before come and surprise you, late at night, sneaking television. I love to hear about this. Sorry for my nostalgia. But 2009 what a time for music and movies and TV for someone blossoming into age and tastes. Toro y Moi, MGMT, Neon Indian, Washed Out, Wilfred, Family Guy and American dad. Ah what an age
