The word 'you're' is a contraction - which is two different words combined into one. The words YOU and ARE are the two words you need to put together; and they are combined by omitting (which means remove) the 'A' and replacing it with an apostrophe (which is this here ➡️ '). There are other contractions you will need to learn in life in order to clearly convey your ideas in life. Some examples are - "they're"- which is a combination of the words 'there' and 'are', "what's" - which is a combination of 'what' and 'is', and "who's" - which is a combination of 'who' and 'is'. The word you incorrectly used - "your" - is a possessive word in the 2nd person. The 2nd person is a term which indicates the addressee, also known as the person you are talking to.
