Hey I'm the Moorlander, and this is Moorlander EDC. I got into EDC (everyDay Carry) when it was really just 'stuff in my pocket'. I always had stuff with me to help me do stuff and get through the day. I could be posh and say 'I carry to help me tackle life's challenges head on' but that's a wee bit too cheesey... however it's kinda true. Bags have always been my main fascination, and the rest of the EveryDay Carry stuff just followed a long with that. I carry a wallet and phone like most people do, with a UK knife lay friendly knife, generally two dice, and maybe a flashlight or multitool... You know, you're general pocket stuff Hopefully you'll like my content and click on that subscribe button.. oh and don't forget that bell notification thingy too :D Stay safe, stay Moorlander and stay EDC

I never understand why the Heinnie Haynes exclusive edition of the UKPK has a CPM S30V blade. S30V is a good blade steel, but it's nothing special. At the time the Heinnie Haynes exclusive originally came out, you could buy a standard production UKPK lightweight with an S110V blade from any online knife dealer. I also don't understand why only the Heinnie Haynes exclusive Spyderco Urban has an S90V blade and not any of their other Spyderco Exclusives🤔
Great review buddy! I like to rock a small sling bag on my back when cycling, do you think I'd have problems with this bag swinging off my back and to my side? Thanks for the great videos!
Hmmmm.. great question. I think there's a chance this might sling off your back. Although, I had a play with mine just and if you tighten the strap a wee bit more it does stop it from sliding sound. The Cordura material it's made form does have a slight granular texture so it does grip on a bit. I hope that helps
Do you think it's a good backpack for hicking ? Actually I have a 5.11 Rush 12 2.0, I love it (especialy the material) but it's heavy and rigid. Thx for this video (and sorry for my bad english).
This is an awesome pack for hiking. It's way lighter than the Rush 12 and has more capacity. The straps are great on your shoulder over a long day walking as well Definitely don't apologise for your English language skills. I guarantee they're way better than my foreign language skills 😆 All the best my friend
I get asked a lot about the clothes I wear whilst filming 😆 That is the Wolfhound jacket from Helikon. They do versions with and without the hood. I hope this helps - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NzlAQI2WdE0.html
As much as I'd like a Helikon wind shirt (in night desert obvs!), I've had an Arktis stowaway for years now and I've got no reason to replace it other than for fashion (night desert) reasons. It's the most beautifully simple and effective bits of kit that i own. I absolutely don't go out on a jolly without it.
I’ve got two of the original DW291 h, silver/ grey bezel & the Black bezel & gold face, wore for work & pleasure for 3 yrs +, absolutely superb watches, the only difference is the strap is single tine!
Not my taste, it is very old fashioned and nothing else. I prefer very simple, very cheap G-Shock like the AE-1500WH-5AVEF (that's a super duper G-Shock !), you did a review
Oh man. That makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I have anxiety about leaving the house without a watch. I'd have to go home and get one if I did 😆
You’re costing me a fortune mate!!! Just discovered this and looks ideal to go with my pilgrim pants in about to order but it’s half the price of the pants, expensive @ £30…!! If there’s good I might have to buy the shorter width version for my Armani jeans haha Thanks mate 👍
Weirdly this shirt is great for my body but long in the arms, and the woodland shirt is great in the arms but not around my belly. I wear a XL in both shorts
@@MoorlanderEDC can’t win either way haha. Thanks for the honest reply though, appreciate it. I feel like I wanna buy everything you review, might have to unsubscribe 😜
@anonymous4201 Ha ha ha... the ride is great, but nobody every said the ticket to ride was free. Let me see if I can expedite the review on the Woodlands shirt. I should be able to make thie content this weekend and have it out on Sunday. Hopefully the rain goes away
Been looking at this in the flecktarn reversible... Would have hoped it would be warmer but i also usually layer up. Especially with a brandit tedty fleece i have coming aoon.
Hi, the size of helikon tex is different in usa and europe. When you say large is usa size or uk? I would like to know this, thank you Sorry for my english
I'm mixed on multitools in general to be fair. As most of specific to a task they can be hit and miss. However, of all the multitools out there I definitely carry a SAK more than any other. The Pioneer or Electrician are my go to models. SAKs are also better to carry with a slipjoint knife, especially in today's current climate here in the UK. Glad you enjoyed the content
@@MoorlanderEDC I recently bought the knifeless leatherman rebar and hook that up with my uk legal SOG Terminus or Real Steel lunar - the way things are going in the UK you don’t wanna get caught out by carrying something you shouldn’t be 👍 if saying the wrong word gets you a stint behind bars, what is carrying the wrong blade gonna get you?…
I got one, and send it back. The blade could not be opened with one hand safely. They chamfered the thumb hole. Same with the saw. The ziptie cutter was not aligned properly so it would not cut cleanly with one try. The shears were not strong enough to cut fabric, the two blades would be pushed apart. It would take a lot of effort to get them to cut seat belt webbing. I sent it back. The design is great. The execution is not. Very cheaply made with low grade steel.
Hi there. My use has been purely for general EDC use. I appreciate I might not be able to test things to their true extent other might however it works well for my use. It's definitely a shame if it didn't meet your requirements though. I'll try harder in future to test things more for the nature they're intended
Hi Tony, hope you're well buddy. I hope you don't think I'm trying to mislead. My testing was purely in an everyday capacity and I found it worked perfectly for me. Nextorch don't provide me with affiliate links or pay me to make content. It's a hobby of mine and I enjoy making content like this. I'll certainly endeavour to test things out in future pasted my means, and I always recommend watching as much content on something as possible to see a wide variety of opinions on products. Thanks for the comment buddy
Interesting. I am a paramedic and might check that one out. It won't replace my XShears though and the question is, if I would need the other tools very often. When it's important, than it's always better to just use the dedicated tool which is somewhere in your truck instead of a downgrade variant in a multitool package. Might use that for edc though, there aren't that many shear-multitools actually and I never understood while people prefer the plyer tools.
@@MoorlanderEDC i am borderline getting ready to purchase 2 of these anoraks! i love the configurations of the pockets. thanks so much for doing these detailed videos. greetings from toronto. take care!
