Well done - y'all hit every topic! Sad i missed this year due to unforeseen circumstances but i will definitely be there next year! Excited to hear what you have in store! Please keep doing the panels. I was able to see some of it via video and the dynamics between the authors and audience is usually good! we learn so much about authors that we wouldn't necessarily know otherwise. This year looked much bigger than the past two years i attended - happy for your continued success! The minor things can be improved annually. We all have to figure out which events are for us but there is something in each one for many. I fully agree with the comment to give each other grace! Respect and grace are truly valuable when mingling with other book lovers. Most of all - let's all remember to HAVE FUN - enjoy it - laugh at any fumbles - that's a story! Don't we love stories? :)
Thank you for the info! This will be my first time at Indie Love. Do you think there will be any informal dinner meetups or happy hour gatherings after?
Thank you so much for providing this video. This will be my first time attending the event and this information was very informative. It’s my first time visiting Atlanta as well. So I’m very excited to meet all of the wonderful authors and have a great time🤗
Great discussion. Great book. I've re-read it & felt exactly the way I felt the first time. Great author. Well written. I love reading long stories. Especially when the characters are realistic, interesting & enigmatic
Awesome Interview. Elle Kayson is one of my favorite writers. I discovered her a few years ago and have kept up with her catalog. Demon Dream is a great read. I've already read it about 3 times since purchasing. Amazing work.
I was intimidated by the length of the story but I couldn’t get enough…read it in 3 days… just starting The beauty of this Street Love!!! Being a Texan “Dallas” I’m loving it all.
This was my first in person Indie Love. I definitely enjoyed it. My only issue was not being aware of the panel discussions. I wished that an itinerary of the panel discussions was posted so that I could have attended. Other than that I will definitely be back next year.
A lot of the issues surrounding Ashira the character, is a lot of readers are Ashira. They identify because they create their own dialogue not written or implied..
🤣🤣🤣 Ashira's introduction was just insulting. And women have to allow her to take accountability without giving excuses. There's no excuse for that behavior. The "list" is a non-issue. We as goal setters or task masters make them everyday.
I didn't finish until last night, so I'm watching the playback! This was a beautiful story with so many layers explored, including the supporting characters. Very well done! Can't wait for their stories!
This was absolutely amazing! The discussion touched much needed areas of the Black Literary World that has been missed! This was the perfect platform. Great panel selection! Thank you all!
