I remember really liking this game when I was a kid. I was into Digimon, Pokemon, that kinda stuff, so Nanovor was right up my alley. I think the gore also helped it have its own personality. Like "This isn't kid's stuff! We have gore and gross stuff!". I remember really liking that one frog with a blade in its mouth. Shame it's gone now.
You can actually add more Pokemon to Colosseum and XD, but only with a small bug. If you transfer a Nincada and evolve it with a free space on your party, it will give you Ninjask AND Shedinja. Then, you can trade it back to any GBA game for another Nincada and repeat. Granted, I don't think you need more Pokemon, as the games give you a nice variety for what it is, but it's nice to know you can expand your options (maybe with rare Pokemon like starters or other legendaries)
Nice video :) I really liked it and subscribed! Some suggestions (because I like to help little channels :) ) I would add the total number of Pokemon until each generation on screen to be easier do follow-up. Also, mentioning FRLG and HGSS alongside gen1/2 got a little confusing, IMO.
Great video! Just a few things: 1:54: HeartGold and SoulSilver used the Gen 4 box setup, so it had a lot more slots than Gen 2 did. 8:28: It's not an issue since not all 1000+ Pokemon can be imported into Scarlet/Violet. Same for Sword/Shield. The next Legends game likely isn't going to have every Pokemon, so I won't be surprised if it has the same amount of boxes as Legends Arceus.
Hey good channel man i went to subscribe and got surprised when i saw 54 subs ^^' you got the content now you just need to wait for the algorythme to bless you
So there are actually wild Pokémon in XD GoD. They’re at the Pokéspots and require “food” to spawn. Granted the selection is limited but if you really love Trapinch, I’m sure you could find a way to reach the max capacity
My strat was to get as many Hoppip as possible for the purification chamber since grass is weak to flying and Hoppip is both, they made for easy fodder.
I already do this! However there is a lot of people who don't even have twitch save the VOD's in the first place. You have to turn that option on in settings.
Agreed, it definitely isn't twitch's fault though, storing data at that scale is Expensive as hell, and they're already losing money on streaming. Afaik they make it easy to store the vods yourself or on RU-vid so i get that it's just on the user to do that. Stll kinda sucks though.
Nice short Nanovor retrospective. I think it captures what the majority of people thought about the game/franchise, which from the perspective of a fan is a bit sad and unfortunate. Both games got dragged down by a couple of large issues. Also, I think I heard that some parents were not happy with the game being marketed to kids, gore being the culprit of course. The main part I don't really agree with is the ending, especially "nothing tangible at the moment" that just isn't true.
