Kanye's mental health has been declining for a bit now, and seeing the allegations made against his dentist about NOS, it's no wonder his last few albums (Vultures 1 and 2 especially) being mediocre at best.
Glad Andre 3K is only on the thumbnail because he bought up the point but something I should mention is that he really didn’t drop that album for the goals like Kanye and EM He really just wanted to show people his flute skills and personally I liked it, it’s something I meditate to now He persevered his legacy by doing that, he knew rapping (although he’s still capable) would be odd this late in his career and life, everyone knew about his random adventures with his flute where he would walk around just playing so I think he leaned into the memes more than anything (since it was his passion) But you’re right, artist need to know when to stop, and if you wanna drop…. Make sure it’s something we know your passionate about and your good at that isn’t just rap
3 Stacks isn’t in the thumbnail cuz he started makin shitty music. He’s in the thumbnail cuz he’s the prime example of someone who preserved their legacy instead of forcing it when they didn’t feel it anymore
@@axelalvarado7439 Uhhh not really though. Ye is at a point where he’s already lost most of his fans cuz his music is rapidly goin downhill. If YOU think “Keep making bad music until you lose your last fan” is the way to go then dats you but still havin some fans left is exactly the reason artists stain their legacy 😭
@@brooklynmanda ahh yes, because I was saying that EVERY SINGLE ARTIST should keep making music. All I’m saying is some of your takes are wrong, this isn’t a black or white topic… in fact it’s entirely grey…
Bro em and andre don't deserve to be on the thumnail cuz em actually has fun making music and he actually made a really good album and kanye seems like he doesn't care about his fans and doesn't want to make music anymore
If I can agree as a Ye glazer that Ye deserves to be on there, then at least admit it is really the same with Em and Andre. Andre knew a rap album would have been corny this late into his career. So he did what did and yeah it’s cool that he is having fun. But that album did nothing for him let’s be honest 😂. I mean, are you really going back to any of that? And Ems new album was just weird imo. Hearing him be this old and sound like the young immature version of himself. It’s probably because that is just unnatural. We were meant to progress. Go through things. Learn. Rap is a young mans sport. Gotta just accept that 🤷🏻♂️ it’s the same as watching your favorite athlete lose their edge because of age. It hurts but you gotta accept it. That’s life bruh. I hate that I have to come to acceptance with that when it comes to Ye. But I am also trying to be realistic 🤷🏻♂️ how am I gonna look saying MBDTF was one of the best albums in hip hop history if I say Vultures 2 was good? Anything I say is invalid. Same if I was an Em fan saying the MMLP was one of the best albums in hip hop history, but saying the death of slim shady was also good. Just like with Vultures 2, in twenty years nobody is gonna be playing any of the songs from the death of slim shady. And they sure won’t be playing anything from Andre’s new album either. It will be things from Slim Shady LP, MMLP, The Eminem Show, Relapse, Recovery. For Ye it will be Late Registration, Graduation, 808’s, MBDTF, Yeezus, TLOP. Not all this newer shit. The fact that it’s is more than one artist at this point should show everyone this is a common theme.
@@Canttellmenothing24 nah bro doss was really good imo top 4 in his catalouge people will be bumping the album gc2 is an amazing song and fuel also somebody save me and temporary will get played
@@Canttellmenothing24 i don't think saying that the ai is weird is a genuine criticism. The lyrics the flows and the concept is great altough it is questionable at points
@@Canttellmenothing24it’s okay bro, it was a great album as someone who got hella bored and annoyed of Eminem. You can disagree, but don’t flaunt around like it’s truth.
@@sebastianbjorkman4273 I put him there cuz he’s the one dat made the whole point about stopping when you’re on top in the first place and leaving instead of hurting your legacy. He didn’t need to but he chose to
Imma Ye fan and imma say this his album a solid 6.5 outta 10. *YES THERE ARE BANGERS* but on 530 mans literally rambling for 2+ mins like come on man.. it’s not even finished. And then on Dead *I literally thought the track was skipping* having future “cook up the ye make it jump out the gym” it was off. And not needed.. just sayin 🤷🏾♂️
cole has been working on the fall off for abt 10 years now. Middle child was supposed to be a song on the fall off too. This album gonna be one of the all time greats brother fr. He be praising his album for forever now and itll be worth the wait man. Nice Video tho
Folks on the internet even started forgiving him after the disses came out 💀 q even told us they called him up and gave him the scoop on what’s going on, idk why people still blowing the apology out of proportion
@@CodeSwift01 They aren't, the guy was telling everyone he was the best in the game for years, and he's praying somebody tries him, then the best in the game, Kendrick, did try him and he backed down. No one cared about Drake v Kendrick except delusional Drake fans who thought Drake actually stood a chance, but the one guy who could've stood a chance was J Cole. Even though I believe Kendrick is the far superior rapper and lyricist to J Cole, all we have to go by is J Cole backing down rather than tracks attempting to prove who's better. However, saying all that, I can understand the perspective of the people that "cant listen to J Cole the same" but I'm personally not going to waste my time letting that preoccupy my mind with every J Cole track I hear. I just want to hear bars, and I hope he doesn't change anything on The Fall Off to accommodate/make reference to the beef if The Fall Off is really as good as he's been bigging it up to be.
Dude gone be straight. All he has to do is keep dropping music. He could definitely get back on the bragging…I mean not many people seeing him and the “you ducked the beef” will get old really fast. Keep in mind he’s very strategic in his writing and his features are so great I don’t think a lot of artist would pass up that opportunity. And MDL is actually really good for what it is, it’s a thrown together project so it’s kinda meant to be not well received.
ay you valid, i had high hopes for tha fall off before tha beef and now i reckon it's gon be even better cause he got that underdog type shit going on after taking that L in tha beef, juss praying it ain't another Might Delete Later 🙏🙏
Great breakdown and analysis! I do think that it will hurt Drake’s career in the long run. My 8 and 12 year old nieces know every word and understand the meaning of Not Like Us, Stranger danger and watch out for predatory weirdos. Drake will forever be associated with that especially with Gen Z and A
East Coast all day every day! But been bumping West Coast since Hip Hop 1.0. Yeah, I'm old. I would love for Sir Kendrick to bring his Pop Out show to NYC. Take my money so I can see which East Side underground newbies and legendary OG lyricists he would bring out on stage.
I can tell you what drake was doing that night.. Screaming and crying into his pillow, shadow boxing, throwing his blankets on the floor, ripping the curling irons out of his hair and shouting, "is this what you want, kenny!?"
Artists that i think should take a break.. drake & taylor swift. drakes getting embarrassing, & taylor needs to just work more on her music. i like taylor’s pen work, her productions just kind of boring. they release so much, its not exciting when they do. its more surprising when they don’t release lmfao
Good vid my brother. I’ve enjoyed the commentary throughout & I HEAVILY agree with the main point.. you’ve gain a new sub man keep doing what you do! I’ll be tapped in
Word. There is a sweet spot between "out of sight; out of mind" and "absence makes the heart grow fonder". IMO Eminem should have took his time after Relapse.
Great video man, and I agree completely. I feel like there's also a level of responsibility we as fans need to have because we treat our favourite artists less like artists and more like content farms that keep giving us whatever gets our dopamine receptors going. Overworking yourself is bad in any context, and it's so important that we give artists room to breath so that they can continue to deliver the same level of quality that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
yeah esp Dot helping after school music progs and helping out families and whatnot. he knows drake’s doing more harm than good by exploiting our communities for profit and his ‘ghetto’ fantasy. Trying to gcheck Dot and speaking on WSP business is craaazy 😭 he has NO common sense also game a weirdo and nobody really fw him like that anymore so ofc he rockin with drake. they both FANs lol good video tho 🙏🏾✌🏾
Kendrick hood definitely love him he be donating to Centralia high Al the time he don't bang like that but he's definitely affiliated with the west side piru/ 151 round that area suge drove over the 1 guy at
I give a serious SIDE EYE👀 to every commentator who says Drake🤡 is going to BE JUST FINE😭. Really: How do y'all actually know this😮? Have you ever considered that your CRYSTAL BALL🔮 might be cracked? Y'all prediction MIGHT BE TWISTED🤔. What is it: The Braids😳..?
I think people say he will be fine because his core fans are on a whole other level of special! I'm almost certain 90% of them were in remedial classes with AK & Mal being class president and vice president!
He'll be fine for sure, he's sadly way too big to fall, sure there will be repercussions but the next shit he drops, just as the past 4 albums, is going to be shit but it will still sell like crazy, like TS new album, people will buy it just because of the name.
I think those people say he'll be fine not because they're fans, but because they're justifiably pessimistic given historical precedent. People like Dr. Dre and Chris Brown are doing completely fine, for example.
@@Daniel-jz9tddid you watch Game of Thrones? That show was a MAMMOTH! In just 1 season the mammoth of a show fell from grace. If that can happen after nearly a decade of massive success the same can happen to one person. I don't wish Aubrey ill-will btw. What goes up has to come back down at some point. He's not exempt. Aubrey might be fine eventually but only time will tell
