Watching your videos makes me wanna start playing final fantasy I currently play Neverwinter but it’s become dead like no content so and if final fantasy had cool doungens and trials with nice mechanics I would be fairly into it
I must correct something here. Trials are not 4 party content by the way. Now if you do it with 4 successfully, congrats and mad respect. But for us newer players especially on the xbox it's misleading when you say it's a 4 party trial content.
Hey Joseph, I'm not looking at misleading anyone in any way, and not sure when I have said that ALL trials are 4 player content only? Some are and the majority of the Trials are 8 player parties. Hope the guide has helped. Happy Gaming!
@4playersquadgaming316 I am hard of hear and posted comment too quickly after rewatching and turning captions on I realize you said full party and not 4 lol absolutely my bad. However the guide has helped absolutely.
thanks again. It all went well until we realized our healer died to the tether mechanic at the final boss. Handled it well after learning to pay attention to that!
Just did this blind as a new tank (just got DRK to lv50) and spent 50 mins wiping because team disbanded. Feel utterly defeated and embarrassed. Didn't expect extreme Ramuh to be THAT tough. :(
This is a tough trial, when scaled down to deal with all of the mechanics. Hope the guide has helped. Keep at it, when you get it, it's not as difficult as you think. Main tank and Off Tank need to be in sync on this trial. Good luck and Happy Gaming!
@@4playersquadgaming316 Finally did it yesterday. Beat it on our final attempt (pull started with 5 minutes left in the instance lol). Happy to never do that trial again.
Glad you enjoyed the guide. Yes the card has a percentage drop rate, sorry I don't know what this percentage is, but congratulations on the armour piece. Happy Gaming!
I am a Forever Tank. Tanking is such a no-brainer for me, and has been for years. This fight broke me. 😭 The worst part is that I got called for supper in the middle of trying to learn how the fight worked. I HAD to leave, but I was so embarrassed by my performance that I disconnected my computer from the Wi-Fi to make it look like I'd just lagged out. 😭😭😭😭😭 That was just a couple of days ago. I WILL complete this fight. I just need to learn how it actually works.
This is a difficult fight, especially for the tanks. Hope the guide has helped. The main advice is to have decent communication between the main and off tank, managing shock resistance and when to switch enmity is key. Once you have that down, it will be plain sailing. All the best! Happy Gaming!
Hah, maybe the tanks were struggling but I joined an in progress group and we did like 6-7 tries before running out of time. People say this is easy but it seems to have a lot of fuck up and die mechanics? xD
Definitely a tricky trial. It is essential the tanks know what they are doing managing the debuff. Keep at it and I'm sure you'll get the clear. Happy Gaming!
Came back after a long time away and these are a godsend, thank you. I know I've been gone awhile but wondering if I'm dreaming that trials are something they changed as well, I seem to remember the normal trials being 8-man I thought
Glad we could help. Yeah they were they changed so the MSQ version is a 4 man and the Trial version is still an 8 man. You can also do these through the Trust system now aswell. Hope this helps. Happy Gaming!
Still head to the waypoint at C, you need to free these players from the stun as quickly as possible. You can seperate, but you need to ensure that someone knows to free the OFF tank from the stun as soon as they are hit. The waymark is just to ensure that you know where they are going. Hope this helps. Happy Gaming!
@4playersquadgaming316 I plan on using this guide to demonstrate to my friends how FF has improved over the years; it's a great guide, that can now be held up to the new fight to show the game's growth.
Easiest way is to use the party finder, or you can enter it through its main entrance, though this would mean you would enter the instance solo, which is not recommended. Hope this helps, Happy Gaming!
Thabks for the breakdown. Just beat Garuda in the story; I just walloped the hell out of here and let my NPC healer heal me 😂😂😂😂. Im too weak of a player to understand these attacks
Thanks for the support. Just keep practicing with the NPC party and eventually you will be more than able to try with a party from party finder. Hope the guide has helped. Happy Gaming!
Thank you so much for your guides! I didn't notice where I get the information when ever you must get into a fire or ice circle. Thank you for explaining that this is just a debuff :)
Fantastic guides. Powercreep from expansions and echo are at such a point in 2023 that these videos have allowed me to carry so many ARR Extreme trials even through the accursed duty finder. It no longer matters that most people don't know the mechanics when so few of them actually wipe your party anymore, combined with the fact that the dps-checks are so easy today they might as well not exist. Even if it's a party of 7 sprouts it's surprisingly doable to simply to bruteforce-heal their way through the trial after everyone learns the 1-3 specific mechanics that can actually cause wipe even with competent healers. It's also really fun generally to heal those fights because everyone in CONSTANTLY messing up and you will be GCD healing like no tomorrow.
I got "Doomed" toward the end of the fight but never saw the cast...so I'm guessing it's instant/not telegraphed? Also, the strat my party went with was just to pull him out of the buff zones and stay close to him, rather than "waste time" killing the buff totems.
Thanks for the support. Doom is a channeled ability, so either look away at the end of the cast or Heal to full HP to remove the debuff. Hope this helps. Happy Gaming!
