Lovely to meet you last weekend! I've still got to sift through all my footage but I know it's gonna be a struggle to push something together! Our photographer at the Professor Layton Meet was also told his camera was too professional, though thankfully we'd finished the shoot by then. From what I heard, because there were several different cons in the building, ExCeL didn't want them all mixing, and by shooting in shared spaces, they risked those who didn't want to be photographed complaining that they were being shot. It was a bit of a weird one, given that it's never been an issue before in any con I've been to in the ExCeL, but hopefully the next one'll be fine! I remember at Summer in the City 2018, the convention was being held at the same time as a Tesco Sales Conference, Love Island Live and the UK's largest Jehovah's Witnesses Convention, and nobody complained then!
