Foodka is the bengali foodblogging channel, celebrating the food stories. It has been backed by the company “Hungrybaaj Media” and was launched in 2017. We strongly believe, food is the greatest leveler and every variety has its fanbase. The concept of Foodka is not to judge food, but to talk about the stories and origin of the food and also to identify and present the culinary diversity. The channel was conceptualized by Mir and is now driven by Indrajit Lahiri. It has done multiple brand associations and is now travelling beyond the city limits in search of good food.
I had been a couple of times. But it is for hardcore drinkers only. Food vendor is outsourced and not upto to the mark though pocket friendly. You have to have a typical mindset to enjoy here however they have a steady clientele.
In our college ,in Bhubaneswar, we had a separate colony named "khao gali" which had numerous street foods out of which Maggi was cult favorite. After 4 years when I went back to that same place and tried out the Maggi from the same stall , it didn't quite feel the same. Off late I am craving the street foods of my school as well ( in Chandni Chowk) but I wonder if they will satisfy the nostalgia or will I again be disappointed.
Ralis is a good one not tasted after pandamic. Nostalgic episode. In early 80 there was a shop in rashbihari Avenue just beside melody excellent syrup and kulfi but its not there any more due to metro station
