What a beautiful video - thank you! I'm on the Edge Alaska Cruise in July so this was wonderful to see its inaugural voyage to Alaska from Vancouver. Did you experience any sea sickness on your trip?
I don't blame the ship, but we just got back from this cruise via Vancouver. Loved the ship, the destination, etc. but the embarking was a complete nightmare. Three ships all left at the same time - result...about 8,000 people in the Port of Vancouver. Evidently this is the port's fault as they don't want to hire folks for multiple days, so they just do it all on one day. Prepare for a couple hours (at least) before you actually board the ship (any of them).
I love your videos! I'm sailing on the Koningsdam to and from Hawaii next year, and have watched hundreds of RU-vid videos on HAL sailings. Your four-part series on the Koningsdam are the only ones I have saved. I find them to be the opposite of "creepy". Your smooth videos show the SHIP rather than the passengers and crew. You do all of this without inane commentary, drama, or narcissistic selfies. Thank you!
Great video series. How was the condition of the ship? We are on her in September, there is a lot of noise that the Eclipse is in a very torn condition and in a great need of dry dock. Did you feel that was as well?
We are looking forward to sailing on the Koningsdam in June to Alaska. This helps me to see more of the ship and good video. Why was the ship sailing without many passengers? Was it a repositioning cruise?
It was an Alaskan cruise, sailing at about 75% capacity. If you want to see more from that cruise you can check out my channel which has a whole playlist from that cruise including 3 more videos of the Koningsdam.
When was this cruise taken? I appreciate the simple production of your video. Some ship tours are over produced with excessive cuts and voice over when all I want is to see the ship.
