@@barbisiemon8455 I wish I could find them again. They were on Google. I typed in Bible books at a glance, and they popped up. Unfortunately, now I can't find it.
Thanks for the update! Those discs would bother me with how far out the pages stick. My October has been spent at the hospital with my significant other cause he has bad pneumonia 😢
I hope things are getting better for your significant other. I agree about the disks. The 2 inch and bigger discs are great for long-term storage of things or storing extra blank paper, but they tend to be a hassle for things that are open and closed frequently. I actually still have a set of 3 inch gigantic discs. I got from Levenger (I think?) a long time ago that I used pretty much just to store miscellaneous blank specialty sheets, but that only lasted a couple of weeks before I was ready to just go back down to 1.75 inch expanders
@@bestiefswlady5251 yep! I'm about to downgrade to the expanders. It's too big and makes me want to keep adding things, which makes it stick out even more.
@@AimtoPlanhe is slowly getting better. He went back to work and is pushing through but in the evenings he is worn out and does all the breathing treatments he is supposed to do.
Thanks for showing! How do you make sure that you accomplish the one off tasks before they get urgent? This system is what helped me in March and April this year to be more consistent with planning and accomplishing my tasks, I saw it on Jen’s channel Time and Tide plans. After some time I found out that I had to write down all my tasks daily in order to be proud of myself because I wanted to check off the tasks, colour code them and put rewarding stickers next to the completed tasks.
@polyglotmona for these tasks, there might be some one-off items that might become urgent....but they are mostly long-term house projects and chores. I don't use this system for any other type of tasks. If there is something with a deadline or an urgency, I would put that into my planner.
Cute tiny planners 🤩🥰 Your definition of tasks/ events is cool. Also, that explains why time blocking tasks works (because SMART goal because time-bound). Have a great day 🌷
@gabriellecole9415 hi, welcome! For all of the planners that are separated, I use expander metal discs. They are all from Happy Planner. The discs on the Halloween planner where I added all of my classic pages in, those are plastic classic size discs from the Happy Planner.
A few years ago, Walmart, very briefly sold a different type of discbound Planner, nine discs, called the glam planner. Same issues, the quality of paper, etc. wasn’t quite the same as HP but just like this new pen and gear line they were more affordable and had accessories contained with them. I don’t think they were a huge seller because I only sold one or two styles and didn’t restock. Thank you for this flip through!
@@bestiefswlady5251 I actually really loved the Glam Planners and used the purple cover from that line for a year or two. I still have some of the horizontal planner in my stash, too. It was a great planner, better quality than this Pen + Gear one.
@silfervox2970 I try not to categorize too early. It gets me into planning mode, and I miss the fact that I can just complete the tasks rather than organizing them. Overplanning, I call it.
I think I know where your black 2025 planner is😅 in the micro video you showed them, you probably put it in that box.🤷🏻♀️ Enjoyed this video! I'm currently trying to do this kind oftask lists, master list and prioritizing them!
I sure do love your videos!❤️ Is that black classic deluxe planner cover something that HP still offers? I have two in the Big Size and would love one in the Classic Size. God bless❤️
This was fun. Makes me want to compare the current day/week/month in my planner to the same day in past planners. In 2009, I used an At-A-Glance 2-person daily appointment book. I found only having a daily view to be problematic. My spouse, however, has used that same model planner ever since, though in recent years, he has added a desk blotter-style calendar for long-range project planning.
Sorry for the non-answer, but I like both short and long videos. I just watch them at different times. Longer videos are for when I’m eating or crafting. Shorter videos when I’m actively watching. So I don’t think you can really go wrong.
I prefer the longer videos myself because I just like seeing what you have to say 😁 I get a lot of my planner inspo from you. But I like your shorter videos too!
Hi Aimee, this exercise that you did was brilliant 😅!! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do have an app on my phone the sends me gratitude 🙏🏾, self-love, confidence and encouragement affirmation and I was supposed to be re-writing some of those down in a section of my happy planner that I labeled the same, “affirmations”, but I have just been reading them but not writing ✍🏾 them down, like I wanted to. But now that I came across your video, I thing I will take the time to write ✍🏾 them down, because the sayings do give me perspective and I like that. I think I will practice my lettering with those words too, as I write them down. So I get 2 things accomplished at the same time. Yes 🙌🏾, I loved 🥰 your video!! If you can do more on this type of brain 🧠 enhancing topics, I would greatly appreciate it 😂!! Thanks for your channel, very thought provoking content, Arlene 😂🎉
@arlenegregchin998 hi Arlene, thank you for this message. It was timely because I have been considering for the past few months deleting the entire positive psychology series. But your comment gives me the motivation to return to it and record more videos!
Thank you for this video. I got the EC New daily duo for 2024 2025. They change some things and it’s way too chunky now it’s heavy and I can’t fit it into my backpack anymore. I want to uncoil it and only carry one or two months at a time. So this is a perfect plan to put it on discs
@chocolatemint9225 yes if you are not trying to match to another planner (like I did in this video to match Happy Planner classic), you should be able to punch using the squares from the coil. I did a modified version of this DIY in this video that might work better for you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GUzq4xOYNzg.html Good luck! Sounds like discs would be perfect for you!
I love that system!!! I made a folder with the flylady system. I rotate rooms as she changes during the month and do her task from emails and whatever I need to do in that room for 15 min Monday to Friday. That way I rotate through entire house in a month. She has free printables on her website to make a binder. Also, your nails look great!! What do you do to keep them long like that. I've been trying but I keep breaking a couple!!!
@lwiener67 I need to look at the Flylady system. I am not a great housekeeper, so going through the entire house in a month sounds daunting to me. But the Flylady system (according to RU-vid) was based in parted on inspiration from the Sidetracked Home Executive! My nails: I don't do anything special for them. I actually thought they were looking a bit rough so I just trimmed them all down again. My hair and nails have always grown fast.
Fun project, my friend! It's so nice to be able to customize make your own Goals planner. I don't have a goal planner😅 but enjoy watching other's ideas come to life!
Hi everyone Can anyone help or encourage me. I'm a total newbie to planning. I bought an A6 binder with undated paper. I'm on a budget financially and bought my things from Ali and Te. because they are cheap and cheerful. My friend gave me things from her own business as a gift.... scissors, glue, sellotape and highliters etc. I bought stickers and washi tape. I will just use the biros I have at home. But the problem is I cant start. I gathered all my things for the 2024 year and still have not started. I made a desk from a console table on my landing. My apartment is small and this was the only location. I made the desk cute. But I still can't start. I feel silly typing this. Im a grown woman (48) and would love to use my binder for 2025. I watch lots of planner videos and wish i could do that. Did anyone else here ever face that problem. Thank you for any help or advice. I would really appreciate it. Lots of love and blessings to everyone 💖🌟💖🌟💖
@lisasheridan5482 it sounds like you already have all of the things that you need to get started. Sometimes that first step is the hardest to take! Is it because you don't want to make a mistake? Don't let the stress of making it pretty or perfect keep you from planning. Your planner is, at the end of the day, just paper. And the good news is that you can always start over with a new week! Is it because everyone's planner is so pretty and you want yours to look like that? It is great to take inspiration from others, but try not to let the "social comparison" game trap you into thinking you are less than other people because your planner doesn't look like theirs. Many times they have planned for years and took time to develop their planning style. Don't compare your beginning to their middle. Is it because you are overwhelmed with all of the pretty stuff that you have? This is, I think, the best time to keep it as simple as possible and just use paper and pen to write down your plans. That process of getting your plans on paper will unlock the habit for you. Your planner will not be unused or perfect anymore. It will be YOUR planner. These are common reasons that people don't use their planners, but let me know if your reason why is not one I listed above. Have fun with decorative planning!
@@AimtoPlan Thank you so much Aimee for taking the time to write a long and wonderful reply. I really appreciate that. You are correct in what you wrote and your points are valid. The big thing for me is that I self criticise a lot. I don't want to make a mess. I think my handwriting is messy. Going forward I need to consistently remind myself that there are no rules for creativity. And as you say, it's only paper and another week will come along. Your advice is very good. To use my planner in basic mode first. As in, just entering in the facts. Appointments, dates, to do etc. Then when I have become comfortable doing this I can start to add embellishments. I had never considered this approach. Thank you so much Aimee. Especially for giving me your time on a Sunday. Love from Waterford Ireland ☘️🌈🌟💖

😮woe, that's awesome! Definitely going to download the pdf! Thank you!! Using up planner supplies is what I've been doing the last few months. I'm over buying new planners. I am randomly using some mini pages for daily pages or on the go to do lists.
@AimtoPlan yeah, samesies too many goof deals now have me overwhelming. Haha I am using my planner less and it bothers me but I go in spurts. Blessings to you and yours. Prayers appreciated!
Nice job, friend! I’m pretty much with you about using up my stash. I finally bought some ink for my printer so I can print some stickers and cut them out with my Cricut.
I would use a scanner or copy machine on all of the pages so that all of the pages / activities can be enjoyed by my kids without sacrificing any for cutting out images like you mentioned. 😌
I have been getting back into routine, and the medical binder is on the backburner. I don't think I will get to it this month. I might actually save it for 2025. But I will save your YT handle and tag you in the video when it gets posted.
@AimToPlan Friend, I kept my resolve and only bought the midnight blue cover. Covers like that are probably the only thing I’ll be buying from here on out. I found other places to buy metal discs for more reasonable prices.
I so admire your resolve not to immediately buy stuff 🥴 I was not quite so strong... I definitely bought the burgundy, violet, and hot pink metal expander discs and 3 Sleeping Beauty planners/notebook 🤣 love this release!
