I saw them live and thought they were quite good, but not brilliant, quite catchy, as there was nothing else going on hardcore or punk-wise. In hindsight I think they are a kind of punk/hardcore crossover replacements and bad religion rip off, but not as good as either.
@@linalmeemow I think I've seen that video but actually it's on an album too so I know it from that first, Seishun Zankoku Monogatari. Obviously also a Japanese thing 😊
@@jonnywex Holy shit, I had no idea they'd actually recorded it! I have a lot of J Church records but not that one. I'll add it to the long list of J Church records I want to find!
@@linalmeemowhaha that's what I'm here for 😂 I think (?) I still have it. I had the CD at one point and I'm almost sure I still have it on my PC and backup drive but I'm not sure I have the original CD anymore. But that's awesome, good luck! That one is obscure even for J Church. I do think the track is on this here website at least. Hell, if you do look and don't find it here lmk and I can upload it...gimme a couple weeks if so tho
Blink 182's biggest inspirations are Descendents, Fugazi, and Screeching Weasel. They came straight from the San Diego punk scene. This Snuff cover literally sounds similar to almost every Blink 182 song from Dude Ranch or Cheshire Cat.
