Welcome back - your reactions were missed. Appreciate that you give us a mix of the goofball energy with some great critical thinking about the mv. You gotta check out Aespa's Supernova.
Thank you for the how sweet reaction No one can stop the newjeans No matter how much HYBE interrupts and misbehaves, newjeans are newjeans I can't help it now because Coca-Cola already signed a contract two years ago.
Their vibe since getup EP has been a mix of 4 90s clubland sounds for the most part they use 'uk garage' but also 'drum and bass', 'jersey club' and 'miami bass' they are 4 different clubland sounds but all have enough similarities to blend quite seamlessly together... this is their first song thats most prominent sound is 'miami bass' thats kinda what creates the 'newjeans' sound that i see so many content creators find so hard to describe... being based in clubland sounds gives newjeans sonically quit a 'mature' vibe. (before the get up it was mostly 90s rnb though... bubblegum was an exception to the rule with their newer stuff)
Zero was a 3 minute ad for coke.. the song was made by coke for coke and was about coke. This is different.. its a newjeans song made by newjeans production for their album and has nothing to do with coke. The video is sponsored by coke so there is heavy product placement but point is they advertise it but its not a coke song. if that makes sense.
Yeah, Hanni's hair was a surprise. Both Hanni and Danielle mentioned in a podcast that they are wearing wigs. Danielle as a blond makes her look more Aussi.
