This mechanical units is a leveling and speed control. But for what these hundreds relays is needed, i dont know. Maybe it have independend command registers for cabin and floor commands and two relay comparators for up and down priority command control. Works as relay computer :)
The output stage IGBTs have probably failed shorted. When the VFD receives a start signal, it probably engages the DC bus contactor, shorting the three phases together through the rectifier.
Hi there, Eastern Elevators are not owned by Otis or any other company. We are still owned by Eastern Elevators and have been concentrating on our ventures in China, Singapore, and Indonesia over the last few years. We have now got 3 factories in China at maximum capacity producing and installing over 10,000 units per year. We are now bringing our focus back to Australia and have secured a large number of jobs for 2015. We are now focusing on high-rise and escalators. Our Australian webpage will be updated in the next few months to reflect our new product range and company profile. Thanks for the interest.
A place at Rydlemere outside of Sydney near Parramatta. They are an Air Cooled VW supplier - cant remember their name off top of head - but they been there for years - The Guy who runs it is "George"- easy to deal with him over the phone than in person - I made the order for it but had to wait 8 weeks to get it. When I first put on the muffler exhaust to the original heater boxes I had a lot off leaks and back fires coming from it. I then had to remve the HBs and replace with J pipes and new exhaust clamps - Much better now - The engine is gonna need a rebuild soon when I am able to afford $$ and time as it is leaking some oil from the Oil Cooler seals.
