Yes! Pretty much all the cats we saw in Thailand were super friendly like this. Much different than other parts of the world, including the US. One of the many reasons we love Thailand.
A kitten came up to me and played with me after that we were best friends for 4 months One unlucky day she went outside and the vendors there said a kid took her in a van she got kidnapped i still miss her to this day
This is great! I just moved to Seattle and can't wait to get out and explore. This route seems to bypass the actual hill itself, which I appreciate 😉 Thanks for sharing, I hope the chickens are still there!
I've seen surfers out there a few times, but not that often. Lots of tourists on boogie boards, but not much surfing. Not sure why - maybe the waves aren't that good or surfers have easier locations to get to. There are a lot of resorts in that area, so it might not be easy for folks who are not staying at the resort to easily access the beach.
All Relative to your budget I suppose thirty bucks is the cost and if you have a family or just want to keep it simple and right out front it is good to highlight. Cheers
Great point! To keep it simple and especially with multiple people or a family, getting a ride in front of the airport can be a great option. Thanks for your input and insight! It really helps our viewers.
SO I've been looking through videos about NV because I miss it SO SO much, lived there part time for almost 20 years with my family and the waiter in the last clip at 8:55 has been there for YEARS and he is so so sweet and when I was a kid I would order pink dolphins and he would always go the extra mile to have them made extra pretty. My mom and I are half mexican and love conversing with everyone in the hotel, especially the waiters as they are so fun to talk too
These are awesome tips! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to our upcoming trip to Bangkok. Do you have any suggestions on temples to go to? That's definitely something we want to do. Also, any good food suggestions? Thanks!
For temples, we recommend, we recommend Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and Golden Mount (Mountain). W actaully have a video of them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mN3hEFYNEKs.html For food, it's all over the place, but one place worth checking out is Boat Noodle Alley. Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-stnpc5TA9s4.html
Yea, Eagle Nest is pretty kick-ass. Super chill place with great views. No, this was last year before COVID. I'm a bit behind on my editing, unfortunately.
Nice! At least BC is doing well with COVID. The US in general is doing pretty bad - Canada won't even let us in, but for good reason. Looking forward to being able to travel again.
Yea, we learned a lot from the market tour. The cookbook that Noodle gave us at the end of the class has pictures of ingredients for the recipes, which is a great reference as well.
I wish someone would go shopping at Kad Suan Kaew in stealth cam mode... Orraphin Massage in Kad Suan Kaew is best in the city ...2nd floor. Doipoomahn bottom floor Maya has great coffee. It looks SO slow there... Nice chill show... Good luck.
Thanks! I appreciate the recommendations. We stayed really close to Kad Suan Kaew, but did not end up going there. We will definitely check it out next time. We love getting massages (almost daily) and will check out Orraphin Massage as well. Cheers!
Great video. We're headed there with our kids next month. It will be our first time there. What do you think of their all-inclusive plans? Worth the steep price? Thanks.
Thanks! Paradise Village is great for kids. For all inclusive, it depends on how much you want to get out of the resort. The resort food is ok (safe and easy), but there are great places to eat out close by where the food is much better. We like to get out and explore, so we don’t do all inclusive.
I didn't know you did videos. These are cool. I wasn't aware you were traveling the world. Man, those noodles look good. You guys have a lot of food! Awesome.
The hotel rooftop view are amazing!! Got to check up the place you stayed. So much like scooter around the Island. Need to go Koh Yaow Yai once, eating local sweets but not ripe durian 555 (Your wife is nice and fun, playing with the cat) thanks (=:
Yea, the AirBNB condo at the Bliss Condominiums is definitely worth checking out. We liked that it was on the hill and had a great rooftop view/pool, was about 5 minutes from the north end of Patong Beach, and still within walking distance of the main Patong Beach nightlife without being in a loud touristy area. Relatively affordable too - about $75/US per night. Koh Yao Yai is definitely worth a visit and the scooter trip around the island was our favorite part. If we had another day, we would have done more exploring on scooter. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Thailand is one of our favorite places in the world - such a great place. Koh Yao Yai was a really fun and relaxing island and I would definitely recommend a visit if you have the opportunity. Our next couple of videos will have more of our adventures on Koh Yao Yai, including a motorbike tour of the island and its best beaches. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Prices are definitely higher than Bangkok - probably 1.5 times or 50% higher. Likely because Patong largely caters to tourists. For example, street food was typically around 150 Bhat per dish instead of the typical 100 Bhat of Bangkok.
@@urbanhikingplustravelfooda5333 if you ook around Patong, you find 6 medium grilled chicken or 3 big chicken/beef spears grilled, both for 100 baht total in Patong. And if you go a bit beyond Patong Beach, like 4 min on a moped taxi, you find delishes dishes for 50 baht each. Grilled before you. So I am sorry friend, you don't have your info straight. Same with bars. All from 50 baht to 300 baht for almost the same. If you don't care to look, you will not find anything. I am here now 🙂
Market looked awesome I don't like shopping either but there are things around here called swap meet not as big as that but pretty large and similar I love them
Looks like you had a great time! I was just in Bangkok a few weeks ago and I did some of the same things. I was so surprised to see the Monitor lizards there!
Thanks for watching! We definitely had an amazing time. It was surprising that the Monitor lizards were all over the place including right on the trails - good times. What were some of your favorite things in Bangkok?
