Range Rovers are crap vehicles. New Zealanders and Australians are the toughest users of 4x4 in the World. We all use Toyota's (a number of types), Nissan Safari / Patrol and (for those that can afford them) G Wagons. Everything else does not cut the mustard.
These engines are a little noisy, however your injector timing is still way off. They perform much better than that, although they were never fast. VERY CAPABLE THOUGH. City violation means one of two things happening. First, your city has its own patrols for these violations and they drive around and found this. Second, your neighbors didnt like the car being there and called the city about the code youre breaking. Leading to the first happening.
It is ridiculous we pay taxes they work for us but they tell us what to do. And if it were me I'd tell them to kiss my àss my property my business and them taking a picture of your house without your permission is a privacy act violation.
Agreed, but this isn't an HOA violation, it's a city violation. It's likely a patrol car for the city goes around, finds these things, takes pictures from public view, and makes reports which go thru this messed up system. I know this cause it happened to me and I don't live in an HOA, but the city has their own patrol for these violations.
I had 6 g wagens ..2 I used for competitive off roading. These things are tuff as hell! Never once let me down. You’ll never break a cv or axle shaft either. With th e auto you can pull start it with it in 2nd gear. You drop it in 2nd once you got a roll on and viola. My favourite 4x4 and I’ve had them all, except American 4x4.
How is the OM606 treating ya? I have a 300GD that I swapped to the 605A and 5 speed. kind of wishing I had gone with the 606 for the added HP, but the 605 is a world better than the stock 917. I'm about to send mine off to have some significant suspension and steering upgrades.
