The captain stood and fought while risking precious data, his ship, and the lives of his crew under dangerous, no-win, conditions. Had he not died, he should have received a court martial.
Man Star Trek ships are beautiful an logical , but the music from all these sereis an movies is beyond touching , just beautiful music that I crank up on a set of cerwin vega VS - 80 series of speakers pumped by 200 watt amp , oh man makes me feel as if I was at the theater back nee day , thanks for makn this for us to enjoy over an over
Thank you for your comment. So, why do you think, star trek blows cause of my bad english? Remember, english isn't my origin language, please be patient 🥰🖖
@@stodemorecordings For a natural English speaker, no it's not. For someone who uses English as a second language I can see how the mistakes can happen. I get annoyed by English speakers who are too lazy to do it right. On the other hand, I appreciate the effort that someone who doesn't speak it everyday takes the effort to try.
@@stodemorecordingsjust put the text into chatGPT to correct it or get a native speaker to do so. 'Since 25 years' is a common error. As well as the difference between rise and raise
I was six years old in 1979 when ST TMP came out in theaters. My dad made us watch ALL the original series growing up, so when this came out, it was a big deal to him! For me, Star Wars (1977) was a big deal at that moment in time, but then ST TMP (1979) came out and it offered a realistic depiction of the future of humanity and man, the ship on the big screen just BLEW ME AWAY!!!!! Forget Star Wars! This is something different! I wanted to be on that ship! I wanted to walk around that ship! My imagination went through the roof as little kid. These films were so influential to me and hats off to all of the people involved in those sci-fi films of the late 70's early 80's. They set the bar and it was high. Very high.
Still know one talks about the third ship class that is shown in the beginning of Deep Space Nine. Which as a Miranda class ( Sisko’s ship), an Excelsior class, and other that has never been mentioned.
I love the idea of a memorial but I refuse to believe even Starfleet would waste the resources these sadly left behind. One ship? Sure maybe even small station like Pearl Harbor but damn near 20 whole ships? No
I don't like the design. Why the gap between the saucer and secondary? It's a weak spot that the Sovereign doesn't have. We know that weak necks are built in disaster zones.
Interesting. But do you think, the saucer connection of the Connie is stronger? My favourite design is the Constitution Refit, but i think the same about her saucer connection as you to the Odyssey "gap" 🥰🖖
@@stodemorecordings it's because of the weakness exposed in the Connie 2 and the Excelsior improved neck design that inform my concern about the Odyssey design. That same issue is why Sovereigns design is superior to the Odyssey. Looking at it reminds me of the Oberth too.
@@scottyb68 You're comparing an science vessel to an battleship. Isn't that illogical? However, at first i didn't like the odyssey too. But later i had more things to do with her and now i think i like her. Not as much as the Connie-II but i think i don't hate her. And the neck... Only the federation ingenieurs know, why there's the gap 🥰🖖
@@stodemorecordings not comparing their function but defect in design. I love the Connie 2 but TWOK showed the weakness in the neck design. I might have liked the Odyssey had I not seen the Sovereign 1st. I'd take a Sovereign any day, but in ranking of Enterprises I'd take the Refit #1, Sovereign #2, TOS 1701 #3 B #4, C #5, NX #6, D #7. No F-Z - Definitely no bloody J. And no JJPrise. That's just me though. I was a kid when the 1st movie came out and I thought the Refit was the most beautiful ship I'd ever seen.
Poor battle plan by having ships attacking in groups that let the Borg destroy them wholesale Then in First Contact to see the lesson was learned and the ships were doing a swarm attack not giving the Borg a large group of targets to destroy
🖖😎👍Very cool and very greatly nicely spectaculary well done and executed in every detail way shape and format provided, A job very fabulously and wonderfully well done indeed Sir's!👌.
The Naval Construction Contract number under which the "Sovereign VI," prototype of its entire design class, was shown to have been registered is WRONG!!! The ACTUAL Contract number is NCC-75000. This is on good authority from one trustworthy source.
We must fire all phasers for freedom what in HELL is he talking about at that point i would have mutinied we have what we need lets get out of here they can court Marshall me later but you ask me that captain is the one in need of court marshalling !
I played a game where they put up a wolf 359 memorial and that place was always busy. Neat seeing people come to look at it. All the derelct ships still floating there. Never forget.
Wait, there was a remote controlled Oberth-class ship at Wolf 359? Is that beta-cannon or from a book or something? Sounds cool! 😎☮ EDIT: Good work, btw! 🖖
