Years ago .i vsited her travel agency in makati to invite her as oir guest of jonro in school(ue-recto) both as beauty and as an honor student..she declined though.
I have seen her in person, years after she was crowned Ms Universe. She looks more beautiful in person: like a living doll ! One of the reasons she won was her grace, calm, composure . She has been observed to not not looking down the steps of the venue while descending; her strides as though she was gliding ; made more charming wid the cut on the hips that seemed to create a certain "sway" . And they said she had the breeding all shown on her unguarded moments during off-cam scenes
Those were the days when beauty pageant delegates answered candidly, directly and honestly. Ngayon kasi very pageant patty and very rehearsed na masyado sumagot lacks authenticity and sounds robotic na.
I have heard that Margie Moran, with her unconventionally striking facial features, that her true appeal really is best experienced when you see her in person rather than when watching her in videos and looking at her pictures. That's what many of those (mostly from the Latin countries) who could still not believe that she won do not understand. Yes she was far from what most would consider conventionally pretty, but what made her win is something that could only be explained by those who have been around her that night.
Well I remember that pageant and saw her only on tv and from the bdginning I knew she was going to win very atractive and her answers were the best straight to the point...now if in person she looks even better that's a plus!
@@maya8627 well I saw the contest on tv and from the beginning we knew she was going to win, very atractive, certanly not on the conventional way but she was the best
Ms Moran is from a rich family. In fact she's the granddaughter of late Philippine President Manuel Roxas. She married to a Floreindo, a multi billionaire.
