I just love the Gaelic Psalms. They really highlight the spirit of the video and images.

Thank you for this work, it is like a little jewel, precious and memorable. The Psalms singing in Gaelic adds a layer of mystery, evoking deep memories of our shared Celtic heritage within these isles. So moving.

You can only fly with direct permission from Headquarters and the are serious.. I am a registered volunteer. However the national forest land is open to fly as long as it is not wilderness.

Thank you for the video. I’m planning to go camp out at one of the yellow posts nearby soon. Checking all the b4ufly apps they all show unrestricted. I’m a new pilot and want to follow all the rules out there. Have taken my TRUST test and under 250grams. The Wildlands Conservancy website says drones are restricted though…do you need approval here?

Does anyone know when the "lake" will be finished, or do they have to sell "all" the houses before filling it up?

Multiple channels to funnel the saltwater brought in by the tidal flows seems to be great input for seed retention.

Reference to High Country News Article Volume 56/March 2024, Regeneration Underground by Josephine Woolington to research their unique and the Stillaguamish Tribe's sequestered approaches to such Restoration goals, using a Zen approach, or Stillaguamish reflection of the Way it was and stewarded for! Also, for the Klamath River Restoration approach, we can maybe anticipate the return of the Wapato tubers in the upland portions of the Klamath where Native Tribes utilized it for food in wetlands or natural lakes like Tule Lake.

I’ve been by it a thousand times. Visited once. Is this how we honor? Rusted shells of vehicles. Birds nests and tumbleweeds? It’s a goddamn disgrace!

I do understand what you feel. But if you remember the inside is pristine and our warriors are well honored. So inspiring. I think the outside tank displays show the wear and tear of the natural and msn made old. They are telling their story. I wonder what these mech warriors would say if they could talk. But again, I see your perspective.

Nah, the slabs it doesn’t take any currency even faustian bargains. It truly is a free place. Now if you want to do drugs out there then yeah you can buy that with your soul.

Not really adding a judgement. It is a complicated issue. The romance of Homesteading and being independent vs the escape from society at large. If I get a chance I want to give it more depth. This was just a glimpse of the overall landscape.

Slight correction, obsidian isn't rock, it's actually pure silica or glass. Very cool video, I somehow never knew this existed despite a lot of time exploring down there years ago.

North Salton Sea? As far as I'm aware, the geothermal plant and the mudpots are at the south side of the Salton Sea.

In the 50s the YMCA built a backstop for their archery range. Siberia Creek was diverted to dry out the land for livestock. The Wildlands Conservancy bought the land and now are trying restore the area.

remember fellow yucaipians... ave. E. is a residential street with a speed limit of -35mph . so if you get rotten fruit thrown at you while speeding home from work just remember... we never wanted you here to begin with
