for anyone interested this is exact implementation of jos stam's Real-Time Fluid Dynamics for Games paper. he implemented in cpu but the algorithm is well suited to run in gpu as well.

I'm not sure exactly how this player here got in to that room without finding all the cats and finishing the Easter egg side quest, but normally you need to find all the cats around the game to get the cat ears and access to that hidden room. Because the player hadn't found all the cats (which usually then appear in that room when you have) the game punished the player believing they had cheated.

python is indeed slow but now we have fancy ass RTX graphics cards and powerful CPUs, it doesn't really matter. even my phone can render 4k footage with no problems
