Maybe it's because pets are allowed on outdoor sundeck on the designated pet atea via starfish and the horn will scare the animals ...thats probably the reason why
@@karaokebackgroundplaylists9878 The ship's horn would have sounded upon departure - it's mandatory under Transport Canada rules. I've travelled on that very ferry with dogs and I lived on a Gulf island so took that ferry hundreds of times....Marine safety isn't compromised because of 'scared animals' lol
I usually hold the microphone right up to it before it starts then start the recording, then when it starts and ends and cut down the recording later. Or a better way to do it is tell the chief steward what you are trying to do and ask them to tell you when they are going to do it, since it’s controlled by them.
@@bcferrieslover130I have the cowichan if you give me your email I can send it to you and if it makes you feel any better I will be even recording cowichan tomorrow
I have had the chance to ride on this ferry From what i can see it still has not changed much. On the other hand I have also been on the " European Ferries " The difference is like day and night. What you have here is a ferry that is 10 years behind the times. These ships need to be replaced with Hydro Foil models,
Yeah I agree. The Queen of New Westminster is one of the oldest ships in the fleet! However, there are many newer ones that are just as modern as the European ferries if not better.
@@r.m.9450 Sure the ships may be old but they certantly are reliable. The Queen of New westminster has broken down the least number of times of all major BC Ferries vessels this year despite being the oldest by far.
Now this dam ferry cant take the weight of regular ferry trafic. And 3 other new ferries aswell? What the hell is going on at b.c ferries? Who is responsible for this millions of dollars fekn fiasco? As a tax payer i want ccountability!!! I want the asshole man or woman in charge fired!!!!! Immediately!!!!
The most under under used ship in the fleet. Having a new ship as a secondary vessel on the SB to Vancouver run makes no sense at all. It needs to be rotated on to other runs such as Duke Point.
_Wonderful walking tour with incredible video captures of the beauty of Sundeck of the Spirit Of Vancouver Island and its neighborhood scenery is clearly exposed and well shown. Great to be able to watch it, and thanks a lot for always sharing a wonderful inspirations._
