I try to be discreet & most of all respectful to people ( try not to fly over ). I park at the end by the baseball field. Piloting my drone while inside my car the whole time. So, nobody knows my whereabouts when they do see the drone. lol
Nice! Was this recorded using a GoPro on top? Or FPV stock camera? I’m asking because it seems like it captured sound. Nice flying! How does it feel with the GoPro? (Coming from FB post and subbed!)
Yes. GoProHero11 black (full size). It handles the weight of the go pro with no problem. Flight time is less though depending if you do loops & rolls. I just fly cinematic I get around good 6 or 7 min flight time returning @ 26 percent battery level.
Have you found a way to use the goggles with the RC2 controller? Some say if you turn goggles on after you take off, you can use them. Waiting for someone to confirm that.
Great footage! I'm glad you mention getting LAANC approval being that many locations have flight restrictions. Hopefully more drone pilots will show that level of respect.
To the naked eye....the video looks smooth while flying with head tracking.....but from my experience.....i get many small jerks in my videos when i enable head tracking ....specifically with the Mavic 3 classic and mini 3 pro....have you ever tried recording with headtracking on and reviewing the footage...? Any small random jerks in your videos...while head tracking is enabled...?
I tried flying my Air3 with head tracking & it gave me a headache 🤕. You’re right about getting small jerks in videos while flying with head tracking. Didn’t really like it.
Usually i fly using headtracking with my Avata...and can use Gyro flow in post....videos come out. smooth as butter.....🤷♂️🤷♂️. I appreciate your response 👍
Here is my biggest question with this combo.....how can we switch cameras on the Air 3 using the MC2 or Googles 2.....is there a way to switch from the 24mm to 70mm...while flying....? If not, whats the quickest way to do this......???????
As far as I know NO. I returned my motion controller 2 because you can’t really fly it as well as like using a regular controller. I wish Dji would release a firmware so you can fly the Air3 like the fpv.
Brother can you check the drone if it has a hot glue on the hex screws which is located in the battery area? I saw the drone today and it has some clear epoxy thing on the head of the hex screw in battery bay area can u plz confirm ill highly appreciate it :). M
