What does Bhagavad Gita say about time? BHAGWAD GITA - CHAPTER 10, VERSE 30 prahladas chasmi daityanam kalah kalayatam aham mruganam cha mrugendroham vainateyascha paksinam Among the Daityas (demons) I am the devoted Prahlada, among subduers I am time, among the beasts I am the lion, and among birds I am Garuda, the carrier of Visnu. Here Krishna explains Himself as time. Further He explains in chapter 11- kaalosmi loka kshaya krut pravrddho lokaan samahartu miha pravrtta rte pit vaa na bhavishyanti sarve yevasthitah pratyanikesu yodha I am time , the powerful combiner of worlds(into Him), I come to amalgamate all living beings. Even without you having kill them, all the warriors on the opposite side of the battlefield will be killed, in due time, which means He takes over them in the form of time. Krishna is spread all over Universes. What we call Space-time, is Him. All the events, objects get buried in time. Time keeps on counting and keeps control on the lifespan of all living creatures and non living objects. So we are all living in time, which means we are all under the watch of Krishna, at all times. As we cannot see Him in that form, He takes a Human form, so that we can physically see Him ALMIGHTY IS ONE WITH DIFFERENT NAMES DIFFERENT ATTRIBUTES . SABKA MALIK EK HAI NAAM ANEK ❤️ ISWAR IN HINDI , ALMIGHTY IN ENGLISH, ALLAH IN ARABIC, PARABRAHMAN PARMATMA IN SANSKRIT, WAHEGURU IN PUNJABI ❤️🙏🏼🤲🏼 In a philosophical sense, KAla ("kaal") is inclusive of but not limited to Time. When there is something or nothing in the universe, the KAla is always present. It's eternal God. Other things change with respect to it. Hence, because it gives the value of change (duration), it has to remain unchanged! There are below references of the term KAla ("kaal") in Bhagavad Gita: Eternal -- For those who intend to gauge it, it's infinity [BG 10.30] - Among Daityas I am Prahlāda, among calculators I am KAla, among beasts I am the lion, and among birds I am Garuḍa. Destroyer -- It destroys everything, hence changes everything; Here "destruction" should not be taken always into literal sense; e.g. present 1 second will be destroyed in 1 second [BG 11:32] Sri BhagawAna told: I am the expanded KAla for the destruction of the loka(world); For hunting people here, I am activated; Except you (PAndava), all the soldiers situated in the opposite sides will not exist. As per Srimad Bhagavatham, Kaalohi bhagavaan karta, satatam sutatam sukha-dukha yo ho; naraanaam para tantraanaam janma punya papanu-yogitha-ha! Time itself is Bhagavan, THE GOD. As per Vedam and Vedam recites Lord Srimann Narayana is Maha Kaaludu, Kaala purusha, Kaala Swarupa, Kaal Atmaka. HE himself is Maha Kaala. He is Creator, Responsible person and director of Time. With the Times(Maha Kaala), Living entities or Living beings will experiences the Happiness or Sadness(Good Time or Bad Time) based on their previous birth/Janma Karmas(Punya or paapa). Time is Allah ﷻ. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ narrated from Allah ﷻ in a hadith e Qudsi: “Mankind abuses time and I am Ad Dahr (Absolute Time).”[1] The words ‘abuses time’ is reference to wasting lifetime with minute or no focus on our ultimate destination of hereafter. Ad Dahr is also one of the beautiful names of Allah ﷻ and means Absolute Time or Unlimited Time. It is this reason why every creation of Allah ﷻ, whether it is a star or an asteroid in space, a rock, tree, animal, even humans, all have times assigned to each of them from Allah ﷻ, the source of all time, the Absolute Time. The individual time assigned to each creation during their temporal existence on earth or in the space is the limited period called life. This period ends when the life ends. This temporary time is also mentioned in the Quran.
