Preserving human history forgotten by time and technology. AND FUN STUFF TOO!
I'm a graphic designer based in North Carolina, collecting and preserving cool stuff I find on VHS tapes is my hobby. All content on this channel is found footage taken from abandoned VHS tapes I've found at various estate sales and thrift stores. You may download and use any of my videos in your own videos, just don't forget to credit me!
Be kind, rewind!

Shrink down to the size of a mouse and also get a little wet, and run through various obstacles with everybody’s favorite mouse, Fievel, in Fievel’s Playland.
My son is there at FLW for BCT now! He started week 3 today!! He’s actually having a blast! He was made for the military! I’m so proud of him!! Very proud army mom here! Thank you to everyone for your service!!
also, breaking E-tools by the dozen while on FTX...that shale rock was unforgiving. Our DI's didn't let us dig where you could tell their had been previous excavations (All that soil and rock broken up already for the most part...the rock)
The 1980s absolutely HATED anything nature-related or green. I think I’m starting to realize a huge part of the style was to avoid using the color green at all costs. The only green stuff was the fake ferns in plant pots.
Back when the Army had a lot of discipline and still enforced standards. I was in Leonard Wood in 1999. The best time of my life (Didn't see it then) was the 12 years I served. Wish I could go back in and finish up properly.
A-4-10 from Aug 1995 to Oct 1995... I went to OSUT and left FT. L WOOD in March 1996, after going to A-58 Trans. Co for AIT. Greatest time in my young life. I wouldnt change it for the world.
This is LTC(R) Shaw, the B/1-10 (Bulldogs) Company Commander who shot this video. So glad so many are enjoying this time capsule. It was the best job I ever had - I peaked at age 32! Thanks so much to all the privates that gave their all during this time, as well as my drill sergeant cadre working from 0400-2100 each day. This is raw footage that my brother in law put into a music video of each class to show at graduation. Lots of fun! Parents loved it. What you really don’t see here is the team building that went on during this time. After 9 weeks these kids were sharp, motivated, and most were forever changed. They accomplished something difficult that few of their peers in civilian life attempted and I’m confident they have been forever blessed as a result. If you were in B/1-10 from Sep 97 to Mar 99 (before the BN was reflagged) give me a shout out on LinkedIn. Look at your cycle book for my first name to find me. I’d love to hear from you and what you accomplished in life.
If those barracks are directly facing the water tower, those were the barracks I was at 7/92-9/92, 1st Platoon, B-6-10. (Senior) DS Massey, DS Jones, DS Hughes, DS Bunz. Company Commander was Captain D. Klipstein. Had no idea that those 8 plus weeks of waking up at 3 in the morning and being consistently and thoroughly exhausted each day would lead to a 25-year federal law enforcement career. Our DSs had it worse. They were dog tired, got pissed off easily, but consistently motivated to train new soldiers. I went in as a 63T-Bradley Mechanic and spent my Army time (4-year contract) at Ft. Hood- HHC 1/9 Cav. Retired as a GS-13. Last position was because of veterans' preference, and I beat out other candidates that did not have a military background. The Army/ Military can do wonders for a young person afterwards. Sure a few things have to go your way but most of it has to do with the service member. A lot of other people I worked with had military background as well and used it to their benefit. I wish everyone who has served our country well!
Wow this is a gem of a find! Even as a Universal history buff there was still so much I didnt know existed back in the early 2000's. I'm so proud of how far they've come since then!
