Its a new advance cutting method just appeared a couple years. the wire is endless so it moves in one direction with the machine. so the cutting efficiency will be very high and there will be no cutting marks on it. All cutting tools causes different RA, which does not mean that the surface quality is different. In the video, the RA of silicon carbide material after cutting is 0.3 μ m. Which It's 0.0003mm, its basically flat, This RA can basically meet the flatness requirements of all material industries
@@DiamondWireLoop I do not doubt your surface quality measurements, and they are truly impressive. However, I see changes in the surface's colour (maybe it is a change in reflectivity) radiating outward from the center of rotation, similar to the growth rings of a tree. I am curious why this would occur?
I see what you mean, You can see that we use a wet cutting method. The machine has a water circulation system, and our equipment tries to cut various materials every day. Sometimes the water in the water tank is not completely pure, and after cutting, some dirt will stay on the surface. When the material is semi dry, there will be such marks, which is not a big problem. After cleaning, the surface will be very smooth. @@danielkruyt9475
