I found some hardware from a guy that wasn't making any more kits , bummer, he had enough for mine. Also , the rear side of front axle I adapted to a modern mount because you can't buy an original. Search the internet, maybe vintage Jeepster would have a solution, Jeepster Man maybe. These guys have contacts also for things
So till working on it, but very encouraging. Have a reasonable 11-12% ratio in cruise and acceleration, but still working on full open throttle and cruise idle.
Find a rotten pine stump, pull off any one of the remaining hard branches, whitle away and you will eventually get to the resine filled core, that my friend is fatwood.
That’s tree resin dude, still really good stuff but you’ll find actual fat wood on dead fallen pine trees, cut the branches lowest to the stump and cut them as close to the tree as you can and you’ll get solid wood with a dark red colour, that gives you bright yellow/orange flammable shavings! Took me ages to figure that out myself👌🏻
