Great content as always Mr. Kolat. However, I comment in this video for a different reason. I wanted to thank your partner for letting himself fall around so that we can learn, it is too important to have a good partner, especially for the teaching purpose. He never gets the appriciation he deserves, so I thank him from the bottom of my heart, please send my wishes to him. Good day❤🎉
Such a excellent and important wrestling video!!! New wrestlers should note and file this in your actual playbook on your two favorite moves in this situation. At one point, if you could get him off balance and drive into him, I'd be lifting his leg up high as possible.
Yes you can snap out of a Collar Tie but the tie up and movement will be different. We have many videos showing how to clear a Collar Tie. Snap Collar Tie Clear ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fkAwaxeGwSU.html

I always love to see what Cary's gonna demo next..!! Such a deep library of technique..!! Outside singles and and sweeps were always my thing..!! Usually, I would apply an upward chop block clearing my opponents arms before they even touched me while simultaneously contacting(posting) the face with my left hand and hooking the knee elbow deep with my right..!! It's all in the speed and timing, which, Cary ALWAYS clearly shows in his videos..!! That's why this is simply the BEST channel for instructional videos period..!! You're the GOAT..!!
Yes, the move took Dustin to the mat and gave Islam the opportunity to finish MMA style. As a wrestling move it was not successful because Islam didn't capture takedown control. Nevertheless, he is a champion and a great competitor!
Yes, once you capture a single leg, you can lift it up to the outside locked under your arm. At that point you have the option to drop to the ankle with both hands and swing the leg high-low-high for the takedown.
Yes, crowd post is a great option. If you are great at finishing then you are halfway there. We have tons of single leg setups on the channel. Find what you like and drill it everyday. Pay attention to rhythm and timing. Also, be careful to never telegraph your attacks by squeezing your grip or tensing just before you go. You must be stealthy and deceptive in your setups.
@ChaelSonnenOfficial always says, "Do I have your leg, or do you have both of my hands?" when talking about single leg takedowns. Macklechev was able to bait Doostin to throw a right hook that he ducked under with this golf swing finish. Thanks for the video.
Great technique!!! You can obviously follow up with that move. Personally I like to snap him down while running into a double leg or ankle pick rather than stepping out bc I practice this for street grab defense scenarios where I wanna run through the opponent, but ofc there are many good ways to use this technique
When they are on the power half they are out on a limb so it's the optimal opportunity to swim and drop them like a hot potato. If they were holding onto your waist you would not have the same advantage so most likely would not work.
