I'm impressed with the information, I did need it,.... what I'm looking for is help with the actually heating parts..... it charges, turns on and off, I just can't USE it... I'm so so SAD.
I have many other devices where i use the on/off button so i could press it out of habit or if i accidentally press on the wrong device. If you are shure it would never happen to you, you dont have to do it. Its just for people who want to make sure.

This is genious. I put this switch before my entire electricity home, and one time it tripped and made the meter to default as off, so there's no way to turn it on since I cant access wifi to turn it back on.
Did you disconnect power while relay contacts are close before cutting the wire? After cutting the wire I noticed no current reading is shown when load is turned OFF via app but Power (kw) reading remains. Does the Kwh reading still running whilst no current reading displayed?
The ralay is closed and only opens when it gets power. So it is always closed when you cut the wire. I noticed too that it does not read data when you "turn it off" but i guess that is the app that does that. So I just keep it on all the time and if I turn it off by accident I just turn it on again.

Lol... The POW uses 1.4kW per hour??? So you're saying the wifi switch uses more electricity in a full day than your water heater haha. The POW uses 1.4W per hour, a thousand times less than you state on the video

And I do get where you are coming from, but I knew what you meant because I have some knowledge when it comes to electronics, but a lot of people on RU-vid really don't so to them it might be a bigger mistake. But I'm sure you also picked up on it yourself, so at least mention it in the description?
If the battery goes bad in a mod like this that doesnt take replaceible batteries goes bad can i replace it with a 18650 battery? Or does it have to be the same kind and if i can use an 18650 how do i conect the wires withoit it burning becuse ibtryed before with sone like thes but the wires just burned off the battery

Obrigado pelo video, estava a pensar comprar um pow R2, para instalar num sistema fotovoltaico, achas pela vai medir bem os valores, tendo em conta que os fotovoltaicos sofrem muita variação de valores num curto espaço de tempo.
Em termos de leituras por minuto? Penso que valha a pena, pelo que me parece le a cada 10 seg ou isso. Vê uma review do pow em que mostrem a funcionar e ve-se os nrs a mudar e vê se te chega.
