So I'm on Quicksword Dancers, composed the team skills, positioning and gear exactly like the video says and yet I get wiped everytime. I'm confused by how the video shows it working when literally every time I do it, it fails. Is there any other breakdown that works to get past this team?
I am late tp this so maybe there's a patch. I seem to be missing 10% crit rate with Offensive+Offensive growyh, and missing 4% on keen+keen growth. Equipment are the same. Did they nerf something??
The cooking part is trash. Suikoden did this way better. It's a struggle just to beat one, AND while using people's favorite dishes. I've only beaten two. Everyone hates a favorite dish except that ONE character who's favorite it is.
If you guys are having trouble with lords of the deep just tweak Travis a little. On the 2nd toxic throw condition 1 Armored i added condition 2 second action. Then added a 3rd row of toxic throw condition 1 prioritize flying. This helped me win first try. I noticed while losing over and over that travis would always have 1 ap left and not use it. This tweak makes him use it and just that added action turned the odds towards the win percentage.
I used a Magic Nuke team. You only need to change the conditions of a Griffin row-attack to punch out the reflectors, before dropping the nuke. Griffin needs Truesight/Crit buff and extra initiative to attack first. Then the nuke has Truesight/Crit and Gambler's coin buffs.
I got as far as Midnight Cutpurses. I couldn't get past that one. I am using the exact setup, I checked it several times, but I always lose. Maybe something's just slightly off with my levels or HP or initiative- It always ends with my Druid getting Impaled and dying.
I was stuck on the Lords of the Deep for the longest time, it just wasn't working. Then I figured out that, because I was using a different rogue than Travis, he had less HP than Travis at the same level, and he was getting killed by the shield shooter. That screwed everything up. Switched to Travis, and it worked
Only thing missing from this video is how to unlock them being available to loot, which happens upon locating every treasure from all treasure maps 1-5 on each continent.
My main squad of Alain 2 great knights Scarlett and a Breaker beat most of them but Drakenhokd and Albion were a struggle until I made a different comp of Yunifi, 2 breakers, a rogue, and a Legionnaire best then with just a few tactic swaps between them. Fun fights overall and it was nice to face a challenge for the first time in a while for my army even when I was on True Zenorian
Thanks for the setups! This was a great help to acquire Amalia early for my TZ playthrough. I did have to adjust some minor item swaps on two of these fights to advance however which might be due to patch 1.05. The #11 quicksword fight required me to give Selvie more initiative to get sandstorm out sooner to win (removed lapis and swapped in angle plume). Unfortunately, I don't remember which fight after I also had to reposition the same setup and possibly add more initiative as well.
Im having trouble fighting the Amalia in Bastorias. Idk which team i should actually put effort to beat her, every other locations ive beaten with just Alain, Monica, Renault, Scarlett, and Yahna
Okay, update I just finished the fight at Bastorias. I used the same team but switched Scarlett with Selvie and it took a while to get the fight that wins all the way. Apparently what saved me was giving Selvie the ability Angel Plume for extra +10 Initiative
Rosalinde, Yunifi, Bryce, Celeste, and Romana together are an unbeatable combo on the hardest mode. Nothing can beat me and they just smash through anything put in their path.
Awsome video really helped me rush items and get preped for the harder areas, how ever Im stuck in Midnight cutpurses, running the same exact stuff except my selvie is 2 levels higher and scarlet is a few levels higher she will take the first action on the battle casting quick action. not sure if that one is RNG reliant.
I failed for like 15 times on lords of the deep and watched a few battles and noticed the archer shoots scarlet and kills her, I switched the bandit mantle from Selvie to Scarlett and won after a couple tries.
Interesting that the aggro is different, wonder how the game decides who to attack. Good solution on your part. Pinning this for others who face similar situation.
Another Lords of the Deep issue I encountered was triggering the Shieldshooter's Aid Cover on the Gryphon Master because her HP was less than 50%. This would cause Yahna to freeze the Shieldshooter thus allowing the Gryphon Master to attack my back row. To avoid this, I reduced Travis's attack by trading his Bandit Longsword for the Heavenswing Sword. This reduced his attack enough to maintain the Gryphon Master's HP and allow Yahna to freeze her resulting in a win!
To unlock Possessed Amalia all over Fevrith, you need to beat the post-game quest "Dying Breath of a Fallen Empire" which is super easy to beat, can rematch again, and gives a ton of exp to get to lv 50 fast. Possessed Amalia is not that hard to beat except for the ones located near the Colosseum and in Bastorias
@puracheach yeah it's the only quest you unlock after finishing the story and load the game again (at least I think so), and once you finish it, Amalia will pop out in the overworld.
I moved her from another team. I don't remember what I did but she's probably geared that way for that oher team. When I created teams for this thing, I tried to do it with minimal changes to my existing characters, I didn't want to switch too much stuff around so that it would be easier to revert
Hey silic, something I don't get : why does sorcerous from the owl always proc when Rosa goes for sylph wind, but does not when she goes for roar? I do understand that when Rosa goes for sylph, legionnaire's inspiration does not proc cuz it's a limited thing between him and the owl and the owl is faster. But I don't get why the second time, for roar, the owl's sorcerous does not proc while inspiration does!
