York Hospital has just been on the news, not good I'm afraid, it has received a WARNING NOTICE. The Care and Quality Commission discovered "a number of problems," including not being given enough to eat and drink. The Hospital say they recognise the seriousness of the concerns and a number of actions have already been taken. What I would advise is that anyone who thinks they're going to be ill (sarcasm) should take a packed lunch, or enough provisions to last the duration of your stay in a NHS Hospital.
