this is not the right way making this, you may try to make all stuff on a plan, subD mesh, then, bend around to make it cylinder, this will give you a very smooth result.
Hey bro how are you so good at topology I am trying to learn Blender but failing multiple times I am not even getting ideas on how to approach can you suggest best way please
so close to useful tutorials on base case remediation, but then you ruin it by changing the edge of the newly created hull faces by subdividing the borders by introducing full loops, making them no longer exemplars of base cases. Honestly, the only way to actually eliminate a pole and not siply slide it around to a new, less inconvenient location or addnew ones would need to entail a partner pole, or a hull/symmetry border edge to be subdivided. If you have a second pole, the 2 can have edge loops bridge across to each other the way your trailing loops extend off here, and the loops created by that bridge can regularize the edge loop density. It's less helpful to worry about pole elimination for base cages than to consider ideal locations where the irregular behaviors become preferable descriptors. Ultimately, you need to treat it more like a game of old fashioned nurb patch modeling, letting patches join along natural seams and folds so that the puckering, creasing and shading codependencies also describe the form.
Thank you very much for your videos. If I may suggest.... move the bar with your social media contacts a little lower, to be able to fully see the parameters line. Cheers!
I see your channel has some interesting tutorials, but sorry, this format is very hard to follow, almost useless to someone who tries to follow the steps. Too fast, and without any explanation whatsoever.
Dude what are you talking about? Pentagon in this place is better than quad. Because pentagons better hold curved shapes by their nature. Example on the left that's worse topology because distance between loops starts to decrease which actually produce pinching. So you literaly teaching people the opposite of what they should do in this situation. Not everything should be constructed with quads. Well unless you trying to get a steam achievement.
Around the 2:35 mark (I'm sorry it goes too fast), there's a menu that pops up that doesn't look native to Blender. Was this an addon? Which is it? It looks like you were using it to make the loop cuts follow the curve of the mesh?
