With a bunch of college friends, I was very lucky being introduced to a great guitar teacher, and started learning since then. I was so into the instrument. It has been 22 years since, but I've stopped playing completely for more than 10 years in between. But I have never stopped in music hobby. Only until lately, I realize life is short, if we are still living with something we can be so into it, I can't wait no more and started picking up the guitar quite aggressively again. I can't wait no more but to get myself a "concert grade" classical guitar in the year of 2016, the Masaki Sakurai PC. It is a fantastic instrument. And only until the very 1st day of receiving my dream guitar, I only started realizing, a great classical guitar will sound awful, and my nail shapes and plucking techniques have been seriously flawed since the pass 20 years! I'm developing a very huge realization of nail shapes and plucking techniques, and I'm re-learning playing guitar again since!
Hey, I wanted to thank you, because you made me realize what I was doing wrong with the barre chord at 0:22. For some reason I couldn't get the B string to sound right because it's right in my knuckle. I saw the way you tilt your index finger and it works wonderfully!
Oh yes, exactly that's how I overcome this problem since early stage of learning. Our fingers and knuckle joints aren't able to do barres well no matter how hard we press on the frets. Some players are more effortless. Everyone's fingers are different. You are so observant!
Dear everyone, tq so much on the comments thus far, but am not too satisfied on this record as I've now improved much more on tremolo technique 😊😊 probably I will make another record of this piece😊😊
@prescmo This version is fantastic. Thank you for reinterpreting this beautiful song and sharing it with the world. Can I please use a part of it for a short film project? I will be certain to credit you for the performance. Thanks very much!😄
Hi, tremolo skill is very hard to acquire. I suggest to practice this pattern p i m a very slowly, with consistent rythm. Practice it very slowly for a long term is the key
Super awesome! I just picked up guitar a few weeks ago because I want to surprise my wife with it on our 5th anniversary. I was hoping to learn the basic version of this song by then, I have 8 months
