@@dearlove88 it is an SHP RT2000. Space frame chassis race car. Company in UK made them and so other similar cars. They have been raced in Ireland for years in different championships. Planning to do a video about it 👍
Could you please answer me a few questions. I've never been to a track day before, I've only done the single seater driving experience at Mondello a few times which is good fun but only uses part of the track and It would be nice to hava a go on the full track. I was thinking about booking August 5 for a half day. First question is can you use any car? I drive a 2014 mazda 6 estate which is obviously by no means a race car but still handles fairly nice and secondly do you have to wear a helmet. I've read the terms and conditions and there is no mention of it.
Hi Pat, minimum you need is a car,helmet and driving licence. You can hire helmets from trackdays.ie Check your car has plenty of oil, brake pads and fuel. That's all you need. Ease yourself into it and make sure check tyre pressures and wheel nuts. Plenty of people there that you can borrow pressure gauge etc I should be there that morning so pop over to say hello.

Enjoyable video! The wing seems like its flexing too much, you could try using a piece of sheet metal on the inside of the boot to distribute the load, you should have a look at cross bracing!

I just watched your latest video, best of luck with the new car, looks like a beast. It's a pity alright, I've new suspension fitted and an lsd as well, so she'd drift better in the corners 😁😁
@@davidoneill2966 I was out today in new car. All issues sorted. Ended up coming off in last session and slid into tyre wall via gravel. Cosmetic stuff. Didn't have camera on which is more annoying 😅 Enjoy the day. Let me know next time your up 👍

Fuck that car needed me driving it, she has so much more potential and was wasted. Not a bad drive, but can easily push her way more into and out of the corners.
