Yes, I must come to the defense of Salliari. In the film his letters are greatly corrupted. And other letters, praising his "student Mozart were left out. But I think the WORLD "likes" such enmity among "brothers", thus you have that fiction.
Had to miss, as I was on a "last of the season" bike trip (Cannon River Trail) on Sunday. MISSED the service, and really MISSED the message. BUT thanks to this recording, not entirely.

I’m so proud of this church for standing up for by biblical doctrine. That’s one of the reasons I’m a member there. I’m assuming people write emails of discouragement. People let’s start to write emails encouraging the pastors. They are critiqued often. I’m one of them that has done that with this church. I think it’s important to observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. It’s is important to address sin, but sometimes I can’t stay for the whole service cause it’s too focused on things not of God. I will continue going to this church until God tells me otherwise.
I hope those 3/4 American's who say "there is no such thing as ultimate truth", remember they said that...the next time they are 30,000 FT in the air, moving at 540 MPH...because if there are no "ultimate truths" the plane drops out of the air. (Signed: A. Engineer)

There is absolutely NO DISTINCTION between the "head" and the "Leb" (Heb. לֵבָב, lebab; lay-bawb; meaning: "inner man, MIND, will, HEART"; notice how these are the same in Scripture?) This distinction between "head" ("intellect") and "heart" ("Leb") is one of speculative psychology; NOT SCRIPTURE! Scripture knows NO distinction between "intellect/mind" and "heart"; they are synonymous in Scripture. Knowing the Triune God of Scripture means knowing the propositions concerning Him and His works, all His works, including the Person and Work(s) of Jesus Christ. Faith itself includes, "knowledge of propositions," or, as Martin Luther called them, "assertions," and, it includes ASSENT, or, ACQUIESCENCE that the propositions/assertions of the Gospel of Christ are TRUE, and not errors, falsehoods, or lies. Faith in Christ is in fact an intellectual pursuit! It consists in learning and knowing the propositions that the Triune God has revealed in His Word, and ASSENT that those propositions are in fact true, and not false. Excellent exposition of what worship means. In essence, man kind gets in trouble all the time...as they worship: Things, Money, Power, other "Men" (and women), politicians, Governments, etc. Centering our worship on GOD avoids the fall and decline associated with all other worship. Really thing this message was very to the point of our current circumstances.
