Shinny garbage out of the box! Installed L&R for 10th Gen Civic and both are failing less than 75 miles in......seriously a class action law suit may be warranted. AVOID!
I bought it and regret it, when I talk to customer service they said you have to buy new one first and then send us old one back on your expenses then we will issue refund. So I spend 130$ when I bought then 350 for installation. In 2 months just 2 months axle start causing vibration and it making so much noise when i accelerate. I send 100 dollar again to find out what wrong with car. Now for refund I have to spend 110$ to ship it for 130$ refund. That a good scam
Nonsense. Usually the aftermarket axles are low quality and fail MUCH sooner than the OE. If your axle just has a torn boot and is not exhibiting excessive play and noise, you are usually better off CLEANING out the old axle, repacking with fresh grease and re-booting it. Don't take the lazy way out and buy an off brand made in a less respected country of manufacture or you'll just end up having to replace it again soon enough. It is almost always true that with only a torn boot, cleaning and repacking the original CV axle will result in it lasting longer than a brand new aftermarket axle. The whole vague idea of "dirty you can't see", well then you couldn't see this invisible contamination in the new axle either, right? Yeah, that's why you clean it out, and you use quality grease instead of the penny pinching junk that junk axles come with, and the junk boot that splits that much faster too.
I just ordered a set for a 98 pathfinder with a 2 inch lift. Will see how they do. Wish you made something for a 2007 fj cruiser/4runner front axle. With the Lexus suv using them too, you could absolutely make a killing!
What makes these good for lifted applications? All you talked about was the boots (which isn't anything new) and corrosion resistant straps. Big deal. What makes these good for my lifted truck?
I tried these on my ram 1500 and 2 inch bilstein level. I did use it alot. Sand , snow, steep hills. Only got 6k miles before clicking and other pop noised. Did not totaly fail but was concerned it would leave me stranded so i removed. Trying the same one again. Maybe it will be better the second time.
BUYER BEWARE …. BYUYER BEWARE …. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PROUCT CV AXLES WERE 3 WEEKS OLD AND COLLAPSED AND WOUND UP GETTING A SPLIT IN THE BOOT … CALLED TRAK MOTIVE DIRECTLY AND THEY PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME TO BAD SO SAD … WANTED ME TO GO THROUGH EBAY SELLER WHO WANTED ME TO HAVE MY VEHICLE OUT OF COMMISSION FOR TWO WEEKS WHILE WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT INSTEAD OF DOING THE RIGHT THING AND SEND ME A REPLACEMENT AND LET ME SEND BACK THE DEFECTIVE ITEM
I bought a pair of these for my old F150.....willing to give them a whirl. It's a bit of a job getting them in/out......but you never know, they may last a long time. People like to hate on these but RockAuto sells a ton of them lol.
bought trakmotive axles for my Acura RL, they were fine at first, however after 3000km i had drivetrain vibrations again. stay away from these cheap axles, go OEM!

365'000km's on the old ford 8.8 OEM 28 spline axles... then one broke and the other twist fractured. "trucking it, plowing snow, set of new tires lasts 10'000km" ABS systems, I can expect load the axle shafts with the same forces as having a fully locked differential. for the price you all sell those for, ya can nearly get away with changing the axles with the install of new tires every year or two... OEM was warrantied for 85'000km... hit 365'000km. add some AR800 to the foundry stock? 170'000psi tensile is a normal load in an axle shaft that is seen in some sticky traction situations in snow and ice that has dry pavement spots scattered. ABS and non ABS parts, big deal. got two of those on order from businesses that stocked them for expected client work that fell thru.
Hey! After doing some research, I believe you're the manufacturer of the extended travel cv axles that I bought for my SUV from Napa Auto parts. If not, they look identical. My question is, I've gone through two sets of these cv axles now because the outer boots are cheap and keep ripping, and because the center shaft is larger than stock, it's impossible to get replacement boots. Any solution to this issue? My cv axles look identical to the ones you sell for the 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. I'm at my wits end because these are not cheap and I can't afford to keep replacing the whole axle. I am referring to part #NI-8185XTT.
Installed these for a lifted 2018 F150. (READYLIFT 3.5") Any reason why there would be vertical play once installed? Can hear it while going over bumps, tracks, road deviations (cracks, ruts, etc). No humming/growling/binding in forward or reverse. They work, just noisy on bumps.
Why do I hear good things about these for toyotas, but nothing but horror stories about subarus? On paper this cv axle sounds amazing, but I keep hearing bad things in the subaru world
. PSA: Trakmotive/Surtrack brand axles sucks. Twice now it has failed on me on my 2013 Chevy Volt. November 2022, it broke in half. March 2023, it exploded. Apparently cannot handle the torque of a 150HP electric motor. This is 100% true and accurate testimony. Dashcam of axle failure is on my channel.
I have trakmotive in my 1990 Camry. They have 500 miles. I literally spent sleepless nights and finally found OEM axles for the car because these were so bad. Never again! TO-8045 and TO/-8076
