Saludos, lo primero sería verificar la bateria. Si la bateria no tiene los 12v o suficiente amperaje para mover el starter el generador no encenderá por botón. Lo proximo sería verificar el start relay (o el puerquito como le llaman en Puerto Rico) eso es lo que recibe la señal del switch y le deja pasar los 12v al starter.
Hello sir, the utility green LED is lit when the transfer switch is connected to utility power which is supplying power to the load. If this LED is flashing, it means that the transfer switch has failed to connect to or disconnect from utility power, when commanded by the control.

I assumed everything was good since I'd only used it a handful of times over the years...but low and behold I was sitting there pulling and pulling away.... finally got reving up and down on choke...dead when moving to Run. Cleaning the carb did the trick!
Glad my video was helpful. Hope you and your love ones are ok during and after the hurricane. I always recommend using fuel treatment and starting your generator at least once a month, that way you avoid surprises like that one.
Great video to help me get my generator going again after a few years of not using. The video is easy to follow. During the process of cleaning the carb I had a spring dis-attach and was unable to figure out from where. I messaged the tactical pro on instagram and he got back to me the same day with a solution. This happens to me with a brand new carb straight out of the box(a Chinese replacement carb), it over flow gas just like this video. Any idea what might be the problem? Genrac GP 3300
Looks like the Chinese carb might have a bad float or float needle. I had issues before with “new” Chinese carburetors. I recommend opening the carburetor and inspect the float and float needle (make sure the tip of the needle is not deformed)
saludos tengo uno de los mismo y cuando lo prendo sea paga y me prende una luz y tengo que esperar que la Luz sea pague pera Bieber aprenderla ayer se fue la luz y la menta le mente no la pude usar por qué se en cachoro prendió y luego sea pago por 3 meses y no la pude usar me gustaría que me pudiera dar algún consejo gracias
@@tacticalpowerpro I used a STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer to make the gasoline last longer, as per recommendations read online about gasoline going bad after 2-3 months. Could that be the issue? Could it be anything else other than dirty carburetor? Thanks!
Few things might be your issue. Dirty carb is the most likely one, the spark plug might have some carbon buildup or the spark arrester is getting clogged with carbon. Verify all 3.
I believe you contacted me through IG messages. Verify that the spring in the black piece that the stepper motor attaches to is not missing. Let me know if you were able to fix the issue.
Hi Ryobi runs and it’ll stop within 10 minutes the carburetors clean new spark plug and fuel filter. Any suggestions Ron for 5 to 10 minutes and shut down
Same as in propane, place the engine switch to (Gasoline OFF, Propane-NG) then connect the line to the house NG line. I recommend adding a ball valve with a quick disconnect to the house’s NG line.
Hutch mountain has a “Pro kit” that comes with a Natural gas valve plus a quick connect. You can install this valve + quick connect to your home’s natural gas supply.
Hola te agradezco este video porque, sobre todo, explicas como realizar la instalación de manera ordenada en cuanto a los pasos a seguir y con oulcritudten los detalles pero me he quedado "con hambre" al no poder ilustrarme en los pasos a seguir para arrancar - pasar a gas y/o viceversa. Tambien en cuanto a los pasos en el montaje del kit en la parte que corresponde al depósito de gas. Y si nó es abusar, qué aparato es ese digital de color gris que infiero está enchufado a la toma de corriente del generador. Un saludo
Saludos, te agradezco que haya visto mi video y que hayas comentando. Para utilizar el generador en gas propano debe mover el switch selector apuntado hacia el área roja del sticker que dice (Gasoline Off, Propane - NG). Conecte las mangas y los quick disconnects a los reguladores y listo. El aparato digital se llama Kill A Watt, es un monitor de consumo de electricidad, con el puedes ver el voltaje, frequencia, amperaje y potencia. Añadi un enlace en la descripción del video para que vea más información del aparato.
Hello! To remove the carb, remove the two nuts holding the airbox and carburetor together and all you have to do is pull. The air box was a little tough to remove as you can see in the video but for the carb check if removing the fuel line helps. Sometimes the back gasket gets sealed and makes it hard to pull the carburetor out.
Saludos, en este video enseño cómo resolver el problema de un generador al que las revoluciones le suben y bajan. El filtro en este caso no tiene nada que ver con ese problema. Saludos! Lo mas probable tiene el main jet del carburador tapado. Limpie el carburador siguiendo este video y resolverá el problema. Si después de limpiar el carburador aun no prende entonces verifique el spark plug y la bobina.
You said the culprit was a clogged man jet in the carburetor that's absolutely wrong the culprit is the moron who put the ethanol blended hybrid fuel in the tank that's what clogged the jet BUB!
Did you cleaned the connector that goes to the ignition control module? If it had oil, water or fuel on the connector it might have shorted out the new module. If the connector is clean and the module looks good then you might want to take a look at the ignition coil.

My family has one of these thats brand new, it has like an hour on the hour meter, but when we start it up, the overload light comes on, with nothing plugged in..
Verify you have the generator in the run position and that the spar arrester is not clogged with carbon buildup. If that is good probably a rodent got to the inverter module’s wiring or it got overload and fried the module within that hour of used.
I have sort of the same issue. i have a Firman 3300. when i push the choke on the front, it won't start. but if i take off the back panel and choke it manually with the rear choke, it will start. Any idea what would cause that.
Hi! Rear choke? The back plate on the carburetor is the throttle plate. That one needs to be open for the fuel to reach the piston. Did you fully clean the carb?
@tacticalpowerpro hello I'm having the same issue. I think the guy above is saying the push button auto choke isn't working. It's the lever you were moving back and forth when you started it up after you cleaned the carb. When I push my choke button it does nothing. If I manually push it to the right and start it, it fires right up. Then I move it to the left and it runs fine. I'm assuming it's the motor that runs the choke is bad. Could you call me please. @@joeortega7759 Hello, ok so when you press the electronic choke push button and the choke stepper motor has no movement, most likely than not, the generator has a dead or weak battery. Verify the battery terminals are not loose and that the battery has the 12v needed to engage the stepper motor.
@tacticalpowerpro the battery is brand new and had plenty of juice to turn over the electric starter and once it does start with me chocking it manually the throttle motor works fine. It's just the choke that does work
Ok good, then use a multimeter to test continuity at the button. That way you verify if the push button is opening and closing its contact when you press it.
great video I have a 2300 i have had for about 3 years and last year it started surging and have not done anything to it till now. I took the carb off and cleaned with carb cleaner and also the pilot jet which is brass. I did not see any Orings on this type. I have changed filter, fresh gas new plug and is still surging. what have i missed. I usually do pretty good on repairs but this one has me stumped. is it time for a new carb. tk you Randy
Hi Randy, did you clear the small hole at the bottom of the brass pilot jet? It has three hole in the body and one in the bottom. You’ll need a really thin wire to clear it of any varnish, rust, etc.
@@tacticalpowerpro Bingo that did it!!!! Did not see that AT ALL. It still surges a little bit with no load but when I added load it smoothed out . I put a full load on it for one hr and it ran fine. I have never put additive in my fuel but you said sea foam is a good product?? I also installed a gas cutoff valve on it to run it dry. I have put one of them on my riding mower and at season end I run it dry and never have had a issue, tk you soooo much Randy
@@RandyPazera yes! Glad the video was helpful. I do like using Seafoam motor treatment in the fuel after performing maintenance. It helps keeping the carburetor clean, specially the jets.
I had a propane powered generator on a mountain top location. The temperature at 9000' often dropped below -40F. It took a helicopter trip to reset the crank limiter. I installed a time delay relay. When the control called to crank, it opened the gas valve first to "prime" the intake, then waited 5 seconds before enabling the starter. Never had a problem again.
Interesting, I had to work on some extreme locations while deployed but nothing crazy that required a helicopter to get there. That time delay relay to prime the intake was smart. I’m curious, what does that generator you mentioned powered?

Tengo una pero la caja azul de costco y lo que me hace es el surge en revoluciones bajas. si le mantengo apagado el boton de tortuga ella corre bastante bien. pero en revoluciones bajas sube y baja el idling.

La del video se estabilizó sola luego de unos minutos (gracias al aditivo Seafoam que le añadi en la gaolina que ayuda a limpiar el carburador por dentro) Pero si en baja te hace el surge eso significa que aún tiene el idle jet sucio o si tiene el idle jet de plástico negro puede que una de las dos gomitas que tiene este rota. Tengo un video en el canal de como solucionar ese problema en una Ryobi 2300 pero es lo mismo para la Aipower ya que ambas utilizan el mismo motor y carburador.
@@WSmith2024 they where the same video clips, the generator was already repaired I didn’t have video recording of the “bad” stepper motor with no movement. I mentioned that the first time I tried to start the generator the stepper motor did not moved at all, but showed a clip of what a good stepper motor should act. The generator in the video only had an unplugged steeper motor connector.
Saludos, ¿le dice overload en la pantalla? Pueden ser varias cositas pero la mas común es que el modulo inverter del generador esta malo, ya sea debido a una sobrecarga, un ratón le comio la cableria, se mojo con agua o gasolina, etc. También puede ser que tenga alguna conexión suelta, o si bregaron con el carburador puede que no hayan conectado el stepper motor correctamente o no este bien asegurado el carburador.
Tengo una Fireman WHO3242 que no prende y el spare plus tiene buena chispa, seguiré tus consejos a ver si es que el carburador está tapado con algún sedimento. Gracias broki muy buén video. PD. Para futuros videos posicionar la cámara en diferen5es ángulos para apreciar mejor el ángulo del trabajo y tener muy buena iluminación. Mil bendiciones 🙏🏻
Saludos, gasolina regular. Te recomiendo utilizar el aditivo de gasolina Seafoam. Se lo hechas a la gasolina regular, 1oz de Seafoam por cada galón de gasolina.
