I have some questions: For what I know a parot beaks grows during all their life, so what happens when the beaks start growing? Will it cause problems with the prosthesis? Is the prosthesis there to make sure that the growing beaks have the good shape?
I heard that their beaks keep growing because they are made if caritin, so when it stars growing back I assume they are just going to trim it until the natural beak is back?
Is there something that explains what happened to this parrot? I can't imagine it was born this way and could survive to get to that size, but i don't know. At a zoo near me, we have a Hornbill with a prosthetic beak that they create using a 3D printer. They make new ones at low cost when it needs to be replaced because of wear and tear. I'm sure his beak was nowhere as bad as this one, but Hornbills have huge beaks!!
we can rebuild him. we have the technology. we can make him better than he was.... better...stronger...faster..... he will be known as, the 6 million dollar bird
