Welcome! On this channel I will be doing "Toy Talk" videos about various toy brands and types including action figures, dolls, and 1/6 scale figures from Star Wars, Halo, Monster High, LoTR, and other IP; and some hobby stuff as well. I will be playing various single player and multiplayer games. I will sometimes play a game with my "Peeps" as a "Peeps Play" stream.
Welcome, and thanks for watching! Don't forget to leave a comment and subscribe!
Well, s3 was just announced. Read the manga, if you can. 96 proves those horns are just hair ornaments that she wears. Theyre rem9ved when she does her hair in 96.
That answers that. Thanks. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have the time to get into the manga, plus I've been spending quite a bit on my figure collections... I have a tendency to lean toward light novel versions of the stories but I do like manga as well. I just never invested in a series of manga.
ThreeZero never disappoints. A cheaper cousin to Hot Toys, but the quality is up there with Hot Toys. I'm waiting for Black Friday or some sale to bring the price down a bit more.
But I do wonder... this is more expensive than the ThreeZero Transformers MDLX. How is that possible. This should be easler to make than a Transformers?
@brianng8350 I'm thinking, maybe because the Transformers MDLX would involve tooling and painting and most of the cost would be tooling. I think the cloth outfits that need to be handmade drive the cost up for these 1/6 scale figures, and I don't really know how much more or less tooling is involved for either to compare them too closely. Plus any import or IP expenses.
So the reason why you couldn't find the hand written number on the box is that only the Web Exclusive edition is hand numbered (the box in that edition has a different sleeve that has a space for the nuber to be written on. If you read the side of the actual box carefully you will see that it lists all the options in each edition.) Re the coffin I can confirm that the figure does fit in it without having to turn it on its side, you just have to adjust it patienly, then the lid will cose.😊
@AirglamGuru Thanks, sometimes I'm recording and trying to get through everything quickly so the videos aren't absurdly long. This one still ended up being 40 minutes. I did look more closely at the list on the side of the box after the fact which was kinda funny. But I didn't know about the hand numbered web edition you mentioned.
She's actually very, pretty and is a cute doll overall I'm actually glad to own her and have, her as apart of my collection now, I still want one brand new in box to add to my wall collection for G3 dolls and I will get her eventually.
@ericmarin2036 I've been able to order them online from Walmart still here in the States but so far Walmart has been the only place I've been able to get Catty.
@@heartlessspartan channel not gonna grow if you use the wrong pronoun for a doll with a large fan base. You do you, I just go back to not knowing your channel exists.
@@Neon_BayhemOh, you mean the they/them pronouns. I don't mean anything by it. I just refer to my doll as a girl kind of by default. You are right though Frankie does have select pronouns. If you don't want to watch though that's fine. I didn't intend to bother anybody.
As far as the cape goes you need to take the two strings drape them over the shoulders underneath the armpits and tie it around and back. This is the instructions from the manufacturer themselves and was also how the real cape in the movie was attached
They haven't done a Gillman but they have just released their Nosferatu figure and Christopher Lee Horror of Dracula figure along with Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. In addition to the upcoming Phantom of the Opera they have also announced Lon Chaney London after midnight with photos coming next month
Okay. I know I missed out on Nosferatu now but at least I have Lon Chaney's Phantom ordered! I still saw a 1/6 Gillman out about a year ago, I just can't remember who was making it.
@mechwarrior-oz7pn I thought about doing something similar for the opening but decided to keep things consistent. I was trying to get that old film grain effect but wasn't satisfied and moved on.
The shawl thing is a faux fur stole. I am losing my mind waiting for Catty. I was pretty crazy about Venus, too, TBH! LOL. I'm afraid the Hissfits are going to be prohibitively expensive for me. Maybe I can justify it because I have no other Toraleis? Catty is a must have for me, though. I'm looking forward to restyling her... I have a Wild Hearts Crew leopard coat that she is going to look fabulous in!
Thanks for telling me that is a stole. I don't always know what the different clothes or styles of hair/makeup are, so I appreciate that. I'm also looking forward to getting Catty. I always thought the werecat dolls were quite cute!
LOL. I agree in that I do find the dolls to be much cuter and more detailed designs than the show versions. I also really love that Mattel varies the body types while maintaining the character's physiques. Which is why I really like the dolls but I'm still so far behind on the show.
You need to see the episode associated with this kit to understand why Count Fabulous is shifted into a cat familiar. He had to assume this shape and place his cat paw onto the front of the Monster Magic tome (to certify that he was her familiar) before midnight so that Draculaura could open it and use it.
I like the Monster High lore in that. I am so far behind on the show! The last bit I saw, Clawdeen had only just met the pack for the first time. Maybe I'll have a bit of extra time this weekend to watch some since I can't record anything after my phone stopped working.
You are most welcome! Though, even I canceled my initial order for mine and ordered it only after I decided I would make the video for Valentine's Day.
I really like the outfit, especially the real underwear she can wear over her fake underwear. Unfortunately, those dolls aren’t for sale around here, so the only way to get them is through resellers at an inflated price.
I like that these dolls have had some good quality clothing for the price point they're at. I sell collectibles myself so if it's something common, and recently released, a 10-20 USD mark-up on the retail price when reselling is reasonable; it helps the seller make a profit while earning back expenses like time and fuel that it might've cost to acquire and list the item. Otherwise it's not worth listing it for sale to begin with. Rare items, whether or not they just released, if they're hard to find, a collector's price should be expected. I know how that feels when things get released elsewhere, or we end up missing out even if it was supposed to be in stock locally but it never did.
I’m curious about the Clawdeen gore-ganizer you were talking about exclusive to Amazon. Have you seen it anywhere online? I love the Draculaura and Cleo ones and always hoped they’d have one for Clawdeen. Great video!
Unfortunately that would be the Cleo Beaty Kit I was talking about. Though it leaves myself curious what a Clawdeen version would look like now as well. Hopefully they'll continue to release more of those with the other characters including Clawdeen. Thanks for leaving a comment!
I used two head sculpts the sets came with. One is George Smith Patton Jr.. The other is George C. Scott. I used Scott's sculpt in the opening sequence and once on a rotating display.
In hindsight I should've held each head sculpt side by side because they look quite a bit alike. I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks for commenting!
LOL, no. 'Toy Talk' actually happens to be a parenting strategy about using proper grammar when playing with children to help develop their language skills. Regardless of where some of our adult minds take some of the things we say or read.
I'm sorry to hear that, and I understand there's a lot of people that didn't even get most waves in their area or country. Though, you are correct, the next series to release would be series 7 for both Spartan Collection and World of Halo; but only Spartan Collection is seemingly confirmed.
Sorry that I only sign in every couple of months, but I'm rather glad that it got some reaction. I listen every now and then for songs I can make slideshows with but they have to give the same message as the pictures. Thank you for commenting.
I would love to be a creative director, but that position takes multiple fields of experience. I have the potential, just not the needed experience for it... yet.
