Relative to the diameter of the electricity pole at its base, the cat is about 4 times as long. So if the pole were 15cm diameter (say) then the cat would be at least 60cm long, if it were in the same plane. So from that, all we can say is the cat is longer than 60cm, because it's further away than the pole. So that would make it a large domestic perhaps, but too small to be a 'big cat'?
so we have a security camera with sound and two people, I didn't hear a reaction from the people saying "look, look" or anything, so why would they even review the footage?
Hard to tell how big that cat was as we don't know how big those trees are. If the one that the cat went behind was two foot across, and bearing in mind that it was closer to the camera than the cat, then that cat was not a Black Panther. Just a slightly larger domestic kitty out for a stroll in some woodland.
Because camera phones like this are optimised to take selfies at restaurants, where you need a wide angle to fit everyone in, rather than photographing small objects at range. And when you zoom in, all it does is a digital zoom. For the kind of subject shown here, you'd need a DSLR with a 300mm lens at least, and ideally, a 500mm.

There just black leopards for sake yes there are black leopards in the UK you people release them and then they adapt quickly to the environment because without competition like lions and tigers that usually kill and steal there kills are not there bears won't do nothing to them unless the leopard attacks their cub or takes there kill other than that there do nothing and wolves are rare in those areas IDK about America what it could be but in the UK and Europe there all black melanistic leopards that managed to somehow breed and keep that black gence to generations come on now
Interesting video but likely some good editing to remove this cat walking across the path. Some numbers; the average cat is 18 inches nose to body and an additional 12 inches of tail. This big tom cat clearly fits those proportions and may slightly exceed those averages. Not a black leopard or black jaguar. Btw, mountain lions are not black. FYI, these 14 species of wild cats are documented to exhibit melanism; jaguars, leopards, servals, Geoffroy's cats, oncillas, Pampas cats, African golden cats, marbled cats, bobcats, guiñas, southern tiger cats, margays, jungle cats and Asian golden cats.
