Metal is not a sacrifice in my opinion. If you use his moves right you can knock sonic off a ledge without falling off yourself or you combo it with another person and stun him while it happens, so it’s just like tails where metal hit him from far away. You may be saying “but oh that’s just the best way to use it, it could be used another way” you’re right. But let me show an example. If you use homing attack as shadow you can be attacked in the air. So if you used it but then didn’t actually fire it so you’re just floating in the air and you get hit, that’s an example of using a move not in the best way. So both moves were used in a bad way, but why is metal a sacrifice and shadow isn’t? He has more hp, that doesn’t mean he should be hit. He’s a tank because of his hp count. Sacrifice’s and tank’s are different. Some people justify targeting because “hE’S a SAcRiFicE” but that’s just a coping mechanism to make them feel better about themselves in my opinion. I main metal, I know for a fact he can do his job without getting hit. What even makes people think he’s a sacrifice? Is it because of his hp count? Or because if you use his moves wrong he can be in a bad position? Shadow can be hit in the air for homing attack so if you use it but don’t fire you got hit cause you used it wrong. Does that mean shadow is a sacrifice? Technically Sally has more hp with shield and can even tank more hits than metal with it. Does that mean she’s a sacrifice aswell? In my opinion, metal is not a sacrifice. And people saying that is just them coping for when they die. Or trying to justify targeting so they don’t feel bad about themselves. Look at all those reasons he isn’t a sacrifice I commented. Now look at someone who says he is a sacrifice. Most of them don’t even give a reason. I haven’t seen any give a reason. Even if they did it probably wouldn’t be as much reasons as me.
@@accelratergaming4084 boost sometimes sucks at go up, and boost stun like 0.3 sec. Homing attack almost never hits if you dont do combo on exe and homing stun 0.5. Before shad can eascape cuz of tackle+dash now he need pray for boost to work good
@@Heavy_is_a_spyfirst of all, boost has a way lower stun time because well, compared to homing attack that actually is an attacker, boost is there to either boost yourself from exe for a short while, or as a very temporary stun. And first of all, using both of your abilities on exe is a waste. Homing should be used as an actual stun, compared to Boost which has a very short stun time. Homing only works in either close range which is a risk, or if exe was already stunned. Using boost JUST to hit Homing literally wastes two useful abilities, compared to only using Homing first when exe is in range. Overall? Homing Attack cannot be used at farther distances unless Exe is moving in a straight line or if your close enough, and boost is absolutely garbage for stunning unless its up against big exe grabbing someone or for mobility.
METAL SONIC IS THE DEFFINECITON OF "get the frick away from my friends there can only be one sonic"HE IS VERY GOOD FOR BEING A TEAM PLAYER (if hes to only one who dies in the round he was a good team player)
Metal sonic is surely one of the best characters right now, his ability CAN be used as movement but not recommended, but having stuns that can last to almost 5 seconds straight and can take exe almost across the map? this character is very op and is probably gonna get nerfed
What metal is: 1. He’s meant to be targetted 2. Played in teams 3. Distraction/sacrifice by taking the hits 4. Protector 5. Basically fighting exe all the time. Yeah that’s basically what he is.
Fits him, since he’s the only one most capable of taking on Sonic since 1, he’s literally Sonic but robot, 2, since he’s metal (it’s literally in his name.) he can take more damage from Sonic then the rest of the crew

Ur actually right, he’s a sacrifice character, and if you get targeted as him or such, dont complain, just stall for everyone so everyone else can escape, thats metals entire design and is the reason he has more health. Escaping is like an extra bonus to feel good about yourself.
@@VeryCoolBamb Spindash is more useful then you think because he will do 15 hp which is just enough to make it count as an normal hit because instead of 3 shoting everyone (metal Sonic 4 shot) it will make them 2 shot like big exe (metal 3 shot) it's especially good when your exe and no one's bring cream
