I look at this now 15 years later and it still breaks my heart it seems like it was only weeks ago , I’m glad this story was told and I hope it gets through to all that looks at it and I hope it saves many lives thank you Garry .RIP Andrew my son
What brought me here? My dear dad was knocked down on 23 December on a crossing having posted a card. Police rushed me to hospital but dad had all but gone,just squeezed my finger. The next day he was unconscious. On 26 December my dad passed away at 2.00am. We will all suffer every year now. My mum is disabled,. She saw dad go to post the card and will never see him again. Married over 70 years. We have a liaison officer. Instead of New Year 2021, we will be planning dad's funeral. Tomorrow my brother and I identify his body and bring back his wedding ring and personal effects. I know I will never forgive his killer who couldn't brake to save my dad his death. If I can forgive him, then I will continue to hate him for the rest of my days, for my poor mum if not for me.
Having worked with Rich for a number of years on the traffic unit, this story his coming from the heart, a great officer who is passionate about the well being of the families he worked with following fatal road traffic collisions.

Worst of all is when you kill someone whilst driving because of a small distraction, God forbids and I hope more people get to see this video and learn the Dangers.
