I have a ? My Brother and Sister in law adopted a Bird that looks exactly like yours. The Bird is over 20 years old. Has Never laid an egg but has a female name "Hanna" Personally I think its a Male. At first my sister in law could play with the Bird, but after 2 weeks it bit her on the arm and drew blood. A dog came near her. The second time the bird bit was the bird bit my brother in the head and drew blood. Now I am the Brother and the Bird likes me for the most part. Never tries to bite me except after being very playful for about a week. Very Loving and to play makes noise at me sometimes gives me the food from his/her crop. There is not much information on these birds and since you own one maybe you can explain why the bird acts the way it does. Now after her playful period with me he/she will try to bite the cage and will not let me scratch him/her or even put my hands in the cage. and that usually lasts for about a week then the bird is back to his/her normal self. But still bites at the cage when ever I am there and someone comes near me he/she will bite.. I did not get the bird from the original owner, the people I got her/him from never paid any attention nor let the bird out of the cage. Now my sister in law is afraid to let the bird out unless I am around for the bird has flown at people and tried to bite them, I like the bird I need help please.
