Please do video on face punches in Kyokushin Karate, and lastly, what is your opinion on Low Kick Championship? The Kyokushin Karatekas dominate that sport as they beat everyone in the arena, including the supposedly invincible Muay Thai fighters.
@@cosmicwakes6443 I can do a video about face punches but I’d rather show how boxing and Muay Thai work these as they’re are expert about it. As for the low kick championship, I think it’s great as it puts Kyokushin on the spot. I’m sure many people didn’t know about us before watching a match and now they can acknowledge our true power so I’m very happy (still better than these dumbass slap contests 🤣)
@@michaelbrown5221 Frankly I’ve been lacking conditioning lately so I try to take on every occasion I have when I do sparring, even with younger ones ✌️
@@michaelbrown5221 I think I’ll come up with some interesting ideas. Of course it will never replace actual conditioning but for real it keeps your mind and body used to taking hits at least 😉
@@jbird4165 Wow thank you for this kind comment !! I’m glad if when one sees me fight he’s even more motivated to train even though I don’t think I am that special or anything 🙏
@@jaredberryman-hivelead Thank you so much I appreciate it. Yes it was and I’m so glad to have got out with so much experience and in the same time haven’t seen my current level although I still got much work to do 👊🔥
Ur style is interesting rarely relying on feints while maintaining an aggressive full attacking mindset in each combo u start reminds me of prime Navarro i will recommend u try perfecting ur sweeping and low kicks but regardless ur timing in those high kicks was incredible
@@IlyassKacem Thank you. I put a point of honor to perfect my technique and my style and to display it during fighting. I would’ve liked to be even more agressive but honestly I had much stress and it played on my game during this competition, definitely lacking low-kicks as you said. But we learn we learn… thank you for the comment and glad you enjoyed it 🙏😄😄
I appreciate how you explained the importance of these setups in improving coordination and follow-up movements. The combinations are challenging but seem worth the effort. Looking forward to trying them out in my next training session!
@@jaredberryman-hivelead Osu thank you very much ! I hope you get to try these and make them yours. If enjoyed them, I must tell you that I’ve got something big coming to take your skills even higher 😁😁
@@KyokushinHero I think the Kyokushin is so cool, my daughter and I are training American karate, a bit different. On those combos, do you think it's acceptable to throw head level front punches/back punches on those combos? I'm six foot five, really hard for me to throw front punches to the body of most people and very convenient to throw them to the head.
@@jaredberryman-hivelead Of course ! Most of these combo types can be applied to disciplines that allow head punches. I practiced a lot of Muay Thai and I use a lot of basic combinations they’re used to do 👊🔥
@@charles_secundarista I’d say in some way Uchi Mawashi and Uchi Keage are close to Ura Mawashi. But in Kyokushin, although it is not that common, Ura Mawashi is practiced as well ! I even saw it from Shihan Valeri Dimitrov 🙏
@@Khampha1977 bonne question.
@@theodoreberbach9562 It depends on where you’re living, but I gotta admit for some countries choices is limited and if you gotta drive for more than 30-45 min it can get complicated to be regular. Where you from ?
I am grateful that I found your channel. I unfortunately cannot always make it into the dojo due to having two jobs so having these demos/tutorials is a great way to try and keep up somewhat, I try to practice them on my punching bag when I can. Thank you for taking out the time to show us all useful techniques!
@@wraith_7353 Thank you my man ! As many other people we all have jobs and things we need to attend to so I’m glad my videos can be of help so at least people in your situation can keep practicing their passion ! 🙏 Rest assured I ain’t going anywhere 👊🔥
