Blackbelt is the one being disrespectful. Totally unnecessary this kind smothering and slapping the neck like this in a regular roll. I'm not surprised the other dude was pissed.
This is always one I've played with but never had success during live roles. I've tried it with both the three finger grip and S grip. I think the element I was missing was that heavy overhook of the head. I was always trying it from more of a traditional collar tie. Time to give it another shot. Thanks for the vid!
