i have the same motor, do you have any issues with the woodruff key shearing off the flywheel/crank? My gf 210 randomly died while going to work and lost power. Cranks, gets fuel, spark, and doesn't start. 500 miles on motor.
I have not, that motor had 5k hard miles of top speed runs, drag racing and beating the heck out of it in the highway and never had a issue. My second 210 in my other bike didn’t either. Bike now has a bigger Gf motor in it.
@@johntsi oh nice. Hopefully I figure out what went wrong. How many cc is your new motor? What crank are you using? I heard those kitaco rods can't handle more then 30hp. True or false?
how many cc is this motor ? Does Grom Fathers build motors ? Im in Dallas Tx i have a 2020 Honda Monkey that i semi built idk how much power my monkey makes hopefully over 12hp lol i only have the dhm v2 high comp piston ,dhm titanium retainers ,dcr dual valve springs , tb cam ,SMR 6 plate clutch upgrade with smr 80% stiffer springs , jc racing billet lightened oil spinner , takeagawa high flow oil pump , mnnthb mtake and yoshie gp magnum exhaust and CJR SMR Ecu I'm also running VP Racing fuel 100 octane , I just found to about Grom Fathers been wanting to do a BBK 4valve as I'm 6'4 250lbs and most of my riding the monkey is on hwys here in Dallas but my top speed is like 75mph max fully tucked so i would like to do a new engine build would it be possible to build a motor for weekend riding and it be reliable to do between 80-105mph ? My Budget for next build will be around 10k Im searching for someone who can do a turn key BBK 4valve build for me like dyno tuned ready to go .
Yes They build complete engines ready to drop in, Kenny just finished a 223 for his monkey that made 36hp and ran 8.7 in the 1/8 mike with a 210lb rider. Give him a call and he can get you setup with a engine to meet your needs.
Dude! your bike is badass! Very clean looks well loved. It would look even nicer with a standard length aluminum swing arm and out racing in the small bore motorcycle racing seen. I mean that's just what I think,
I race it at all the Grom events that are within 10 or so hour drives. Stock swing arm likes to wheelie too much and extended isn’t written out of the rules we race in. Bike has been a best of 8.0@82 but still working out some issues.
@@johntsi Ok now I get why the long arm, I race my Vader around go kart tracks. I can imagine you can let the clutch fly at the start light and let the back tire do its job!
