I had this one insane sporty kid who averaged like 120 pacers every test and one day I vowed that I would beat him (my average was probably around 100 or so). So the day of the test rolls around and everyone had found out what I wanted to do including the kid. We lined up and he runs right beside me, the test begins. The first part was obviously easy with both me and him breezing by. The next song comes on and we're both going strong. Then the next song kicks on and I'm beginning to get a little tired, I look over at him and see him not even breaking a sweat so I knew I had to lock in. The next song comes on, it's just me, him, and a couple of other sporty kids, I'm starting to notice his breathing getting more labored like mine. The next song, it's only me and him now, my friends along with some other kids are cheering me on his friends doing the same for him. We make it to 100 and me and him are beginning to wheeze. Now it's 110, I can barely feel my legs and I know I'm bout to loose this. I think to myself that he will be out around 130 so I push myself for that goal. 120, I am actively dying while this kid is still in the zone, while I'm looking at him I miss my first pacer. He notices this and smirks at me knowing he's gonna win. This pisses me off so I full on sprint these next 5. On 126th pacer he missed his first, the whole class is going wild as we continue to torture ourselves. 130 I've made it to my goal and feel like I'm about to puke, but I continued to run anyways. 131, the class is still going wild and now even the teacher is getting into it. 132, I notice him stumbling as I start coughing. 133, I don't know how much longer I have, so I use my last ounces of energy to go for 135. 134, Class is still cheering and yelling while me and the kid were neck and neck, He looks at me and I look at him. He nods right before 135, I didn't know what that meant so I ran for it. 135, boom I hit my limit, but as I bend over I see him stop running too. I realize that he's quit and if I can sprint to this next pacer I will win. I turn around and bolt for the line. The whole class erupts. I am inches from the line with my body is failing me but I keep going. I leap for the line as my legs give out and hear the beep. 136, I've made it. I roll over and look at the kid, he is stunned, the class is yelling and cheering. I've won.
if someone ever tells me they beat the fitness gram pacer test, i'll tell 'em they forgot about arnold who's still doing the test after 3 months, already beaten the world record twice
[I already commented but i wanted to say this as well] also is it just me or dose the Pacer Test turn into a fucking tournament around 20+ Like if you were out you were Eliminated to the other classmates If you were the last one you are considered the winner [BTW the highest score possible is 247 which is STUPIDLY HARD as you start of with 9 seconds to get from line to like and it decreases by approximately .5 seconds every level, and each level lasts around 1 minute, fastest it can go is 3.89 seconds per beep] there are 21 levels btw i did not know that and only ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD has ever reached 247 so ye... *Pacer Test is some real shit in Gym class*
4:47 is like the only GOOD song in the pacer test, and the music actually helps lol [And somehow always sounds better on the gym speakers???] No like the music at this point is actually a good one for running lol
This music was groovy as hell i like’d it better then the actual running portion seriously even the weather channel could’ve used this music for the WeatherScan Channels Back Then.
That music at 4:48 seems to sound kind of similar to the music on the gingerbread maker game on tab tale when blending/drinking the gingerbread. Just seem to be a little the same tune. But different music. That music on this video is called Groove Ride.
