Thank you for making this video. I would like to study my Masters at NTU, so I would like to know a bit more about life in Nottingham and also at the University. 🎉
Hey! If you are traveling from far and won’t be back anytime soon I would definitely recommend going on safari even for just one day as it’s an amazing experience. However, you cannot be certain that you will see all the animals you want to in that one day which is why people usually go on safari for 1-2 days. Depends on what you want and a bit of luck too!
This was a very nice video ❤,How was the experience so far in terms of the volunteering part, most people love it but say the schedule is very tiring and exhausting
Thank you! I can agree with that to be honest, the days are very long and quite repetitive. I only did it for one week so I was okay with it but I would image that doing it for multiple weeks could be a lot… Personally I enjoyed my experience as most of the kids were well engaged, the AV team was very accommodating and my fellow volunteers were super nice :)
Great video! You had a lot of the same emotions I had when I was coming to Poland for the first time. If I do Angloville next year though then I’ll be much more prepared and less nervous than I was.

Hey I didn't know you had a RU-vid Channel! Really cool! Yeah I'd definitely recommend getting into sports and societies, well for me best decision I've ever made was definitely joining Burlesque society. I was incredibly afraid of joining because I had joined (since my Second Year during my second term) not knowing anyone before except one girl who had introduced me to Burlesque through her ig story about a free taster session. I did the taster session and I instantly loved Burlesque and the people there were all wonderful individuals and the most beautiful souls I've ever met (I had joined their Burlesque group after buying the membership for it, and I had written a very long message to the groupchat to thank everyone for being amazing and I got back and felt their positive energies through a screen like minutes later). Whenever I'd feel sad or a low sense of self-worth (had been previously struggling with mental health during my first, second and third year), I'd always come back to Burl because it would remind me of who I am and convince my overthinking and chaotic mind that I'm resilient, powerful and more amazing than what my mind tells me. Ever since that taster session, I felt like my dancing abilities have improved a lot and I feel a bit more confident in myself everytime I keep on pushing myself to be better. Burl has been the society I am the most consistent in as I had previous joined different things at NTU to explore my interests, but nothing seemed to stick or last (previously joined Mandarin online classes, Karate, BJJ, Social Sciences society) until I found Burlesque in my second year ❤ ever since then I've been performing in shows and I feel like it's so meaningful because we raise money for charities from the shows we do. I feel like Burl has changed me for the better, I used to be extremely shy and struggle to make friends but I felt like I have improved a lot from joining. I still do feel socially awkward and can be anxious too in social situations, but I'm learning to manage it better on my own and keep on believing in myself. So for anyone who's going to be at NTU or planning on which societies to join, deffo consider Burlesque ;) just thought I'd share my experience of being at NTU - from a dedicated current Trent Tigerlily ❤ Thanks for this video it was sucha joy to watch, you're a lovely individual and I hope we can meet in person soon! And keep on making those vids 🥰
I got my internship through applying online on different job boards and company websites. It also a good idea to speak to any connections you have through friends and family!
