I played the steam version of the game so i got to play it in 4k and i gota say it was a brilliant game i loved the story i loved the characters it absolutely deserves a sequel it should of been a trilogy come on Sony give the people what they want!!! ill buy a ps5 just to play this game yano i understand it may take a year or so after ps5 release to hit PC so think about it 2 sales in 1 here!!
I'm going to be honest I don't care if the graphics are amazing or next-gen approved. Because if I can go back and have more fun playing a game on the original Xbox and the original PlayStation because it's a good game. Have more fun doing that than playing these current Jen games for trash and have crap stories. I could care less about the graphics. Give me a game that has a fun interesting storyline and fun gameplay over graphics any day.
Tell me where I can put pressure on Sony to make days gone 2 because I know for a fact their is thousands of fans for this game begging for another one
In my opinion they handled things incorrectly with the monsters/animals in the game. mainly the scavangers since instead of looking like featherless birds they look like raptors. they should stick to the old design a bit more since who makes a featherless bird into a raptor when the game already has one. also one of the different variants of the snapper (or whatever that thing is the in the trailer looks like the 89 godzilla) generally the world building looks nice yet they should make more options to change camera possition to be looking (like in the og) directly at the characters head for the og players. and the lighting at day is too blue and makes the old camp not fit with its red colour, the gray filter makes this worse as unlike in the original the red looks very gray and not vibrant. In gothic the worlds flora mostly looked dead in a way since grass wasnt extremely green and mostly it was orange brownish or gray with the skybox. night of course should be blue since so it was in the og which they did follow very well. sadly the new camp is way to orange making it lose the thing its known for which is everyone having a blue on their armor as wel as the camp being mostly blue, even the teleporter to the new camp was signified with blue. and due to the overly blue look at day it makes the old camp look more like the new camp colourwise. also the swamp camp is missing its iconc ore lanterns that light up the place in a nice blue/purple colour. honestly they did a good job listening to the community for now yet some of the creatures look way too horror movie like when they arent supposed to look that way or just miss the style of the og (doesnt mean it has to be a complete copy). hopefully they do make the wildlife look more like the original so that og players may recognize them. though with the warg/ork hound i cannot complain they did it quite well since its just a mixture of wolf and hog. hopefully they make the sleeper look very much like the original since that is the games endboss and having it be iconic is a must. Not to mention the ability to do all camp related quest without having to join them yet milking all the exp possible before joining the camp you want to join. and of course no respawning of enteties until next chapter.
The game is not releasing on December 31st. That's a placeholder date for many games on Amazon when there's no official release date yet. The official release date has not been announced yet.
Gothic remake does not have a release date right now and there was no such news about Amazon only owning this game I'm a die hard gothic fan plz don't say things that are not true about a beloved classic getting a remake

Initially, they were going towards a disaster at maximum velocity. But, it seems they got it right in the end. This means they listen to the fans/consumers observations and take seriously their feed-back, which is the proper attitude in this kind of situations. And the fact that they do not rush at all to launch the game, fills me with optimism. And also, Kai Rosenkrantz (the music composer for the original Gothic games, extremely talented) being in the project: perfect!
" i want to let player to feel mountain was feel like actual mountains" , an imply to let player know there's gonna have a lot of mountainous area that's empty. hardly a good thing to be impressed.

Hi Woods , just to answer your few questions , yes this remake it feels and looks like the original Gothic version 2001, but this remake is way much better looking with better graphics , more modern and characters realism as well as the mechanics, combat system and story line looks like in the original Gothic 2001. Taking a look at this remake 1 immediately you can see and feel this is the Gothic original from 2001, as they respected all the steps making it possible and keeping all the things that makes Gothic , Gothic, finally had the chance to be created in a modern engine standards, reaching the standards like all the other games graphics now Gothic can complete with everyone else easily . Therefore you mentioned this looks / feels like Skyrim, The Witcher games , I believe everyone has been inspired from Gothic 2001 as this game came out first, then The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion ; show. March 20 - 2006. / Elder scrolls on - 2011 -11 November, and Witcher on 2007- 10 -October. I would say Skyrim / Witcher looks and feels more like Gothic 2001 / Gothic remake. I believe Gothic original 2001 has played a big role , inspiring everyone else creating their own version story of game beautiful in their own ways of course. There’s no doubt that, I do love all this type of games . I can sincerely say that due to this day Gothic 2001 still remained a master piece looking at the remake I can understand why you would mention that it is looking like other these games , it is only natural to say that because Gothic 2001 never looked this good before and you just had the chance to see these other games first with better graphics. Furthermore Gothic remake 1 can now finally be seen at its fullest potential and benefiting of the new modern engines and graphics as every other modern games have that has been released and on the are currently on the market now . Gothic 2001 is OG after all this is what always had been , but never had the modern engine to show the world it’s fullest capability and potential, back then the graphics were very different for its time period beautiful for its time but comparing to what Skyrim / The Witcher games look like you can not compare them as Gothic 2001 was behind with the graphics, you can’t really expect much though for a game released in 2001 graphics’s wise it was already ahead of for its time . I grow up with this game and I can say this is very sentimental for me and what makes Gothic unique is the music , atmosphere, story line , the colony you can choose from and it’s uniqueness combat play , letting you choose what you wanna do and where you wanna go in the open world without any pressure exploring figuring things on your own made Gothic , Gothic . You have to play it to understand it . As you mentioned maybe Gothic 2 remake it’s not very perfect at the moment but none of this other games are after all and this is just the beginning for Gothic remake , as there more parts to be made and they can be improved as well improve things in life , there’s room for improvement always , that keeps us going no matter if it is in game or life , we will always be improving . Therefore let’s not forget it is a big jump remaking Gothic with all the expectations and standards I believe they’ve done a very well job beyond all the expectations they delivered the best remake they could keep all the essentials and not getting further for it’s original path .
